I think the blue-haired girl with the long cowlick is meant to refer to Nyaruko-- note how she is posed.

Ehh... I think if it was supposed to be Nyarko, it would just be her, all the other characters on the cut outs look just like them. I've seen the blue-haired girl before, I just cant remember from where.

I still say blue haired girl is Nyarko, they're making almost the exact same pose with the same ahoge

there was a pink haired hatsune miku next to her as well

This show is consistently more entertaining than it logically should be, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why.

But I like it.

My sentiments exactly. The premise is ridiculous, the otaku-pandering is in full effect, and it is totally setting up for a harem which will almost certainly not have a resolution. Still, I'm totally enjoying it, but not for any reason I can totally comprehend. Maybe its the weird juxtaposition of otaku culture and generic fantasy tropes? Regardless, it is surprisingly fun.

Incidentally, in case you don't know what "tsundora" means, it is the Japanese word for "tundra", and is occasionally used as a euphemism for an unfunny joke or unfunny joke-teller (I wanna say this is a Bakemonogatari reference, but I haven't seen that show in quite a while, so I could be wrong. It is also used in Umineko no Naku Koro Ni).

If I had known what that meant beforehand, it would have made the whole scene twice as funny, it's funnier now that i know, but only by a little bit.

blue-hair ahoge: I guess it could be Nyarko... I also got a closer look at the Log Horizon character after I rewatched that scene, and it appears to be a girl. So I guess they are switching them around a little bit.

Also: Did anyone noticed that when Myucel dropped the load of laundry that when it was put back in the basket, it was smaller?

That's funny 'cause I thought it was a blunt abrasive dragon. It took another look to see the manga the maid was reading was Seitokai Yakuindomo when she asked about it being a heavy flow.

I dunno. I agree a non-resolution ending is more likely (at least for the anime), but I could see a Myucel ending happening. Petralka and Elbia clearly hit his fetishes, but he's had the most "romance flag" moments (for lack of a better term) with Myucel, and seems to care about her the most.

What was that bunny thing, and why did Myucel get so embarrased about it?

Petralka, a tsundere since episode 1, now starts going out of her way to act tsundere. LOL

Elbia in heat is both LOL and HOT. Any claim of being a helpless victim on Shinichi's part would already be hard enough to believe without that incriminating hand placement.

Myucel's reactions, both to the sight in Shinichi's bedroom and to Minori's advice, are great.

Edit:

Considering that the 8th novel just came out yesterday and publication continues I don't think we'll get any sort of resolution in the anime. Ah well, I guess I will have to start reading this one too... I need to read Japanese much, much faster somehow... and to spend much, much less time posting online...

Censored pantsu. This show must have a less forgiving time slot.

Fluffier episode, this time. (Pun intended.) I get the feeling that Minori is eventually going to go nuclear on Shinichi if he does not teach BL. (Then again, when she tried telling the class about it earlier —)

Sorry if I didn't make it clear, I mean that the anime probably wouldn't have a romantic resolution, since the LN series is still going and (since it isn't really a romance-oriented series) there isn't a clear "main girl". You are right though, Myucel would seem to be the logical choice, since the other girls are much more fetish-oriented (yes, Myucel is a maid, but her character definitely seems to have more depth than loli princess, furry or chick with guns). Still, you can tell this is an otaku show when the maid is the least fetishy character in the series.

Elbia truly is part canine(as if last week wasn't enough to tell us that). She loves balls.

Minori scares me at times......

Romilda is now one of my favorite characters in this show. Pint-sized loli badass she is.

Dat rice-on-cheek sequence. ESPECIALLY Minori all the way in the background when Galius eats the rice off Shinichi's cheek.

Petralka suiting up in a soccer kit and scoring a goal was just adorable. :3
