Justin Beiber. - I personally don't like him, don't care about him, I don't even know who he is, but his fans are insanely annoying. No matter how many videos I watch on Youtube, Justin Beiber is always a subject.

I'm pretty much with you on not even really knowing anything about Bieber. Heard one of his songs at a baby shower I went to once, that's about it, but I just had to point out that most youtube comments seem to be focused on hating on the guy rather than fangirling/boying over him. I agree that it's annoying to click on any random music video and see the inevitable '29 Justin Beiber fans disliked this yadda yadda' comment as the top rated comment every single time but I don't think fans are the ones responsible for that mess.
Which brings me to the fandoms that I think are the worst, and that would be the fans of hate. Maybe hatedoms don't really count, but I think they should because even though I myself am a hater at times I think it's wrong to direct hatred toward anything beyond the entertainment in question. Sometimes I might even bag on the skills of the people responsible for what ever garbage it is that I don't like, but I would never wish ill on the creators or fans of something simply because they enjoy something that I don't.
For instance I might say something like 'Micheal Bay is an awful director who ruins everything he touches. Pearl Harbor was utterly atrocious etc'. but I would never say the guy needs to go drink some bleach or that Transformers movies' fans are all pea brains who need to be shot to Mars or something mean like that.
I run into people all the time who take great pleasure in directing as much vitriol at a fanbase or creator of something as they can for no other reason than that it wasn't something they enjoyed. It be one thing if, like some people are mentioning in their post, they had received a lot of abuse from really mean fans or the creators had done something really awful on a moral level, but when their only crime is bad taste in your opinion the meanness just makes no sense.
As for an icky fanbase I'd have to say that Gundam fans can be a real pain.

Homestuck - Tried reading the comic, couldn't understand how it appealed to people and how it got a huge fanbase. Also, from witnessing/interacting with them at an anime convention, loud/obnoxious/no understating of what time is. In 2012 at a photoshoot I could easily hear them ACROSS THE FRIGGIN STREET. Then 2013 hits and instead of dispersing after their photoshoot ended so another can take its place, they stayed...then expanded to take up both their space and to the left and right. Valve photoshoot was delayed by about 10 minutes and no one was happy (you know when a fandom is really pissed off when a cosplayer in it had to calm everyone down). Oh and Valve cosplayers tend to carry props of various weight.

My Little Pony: I kept watching the first episode, could not get into it. LEAVE ME ALONE DAMNIT.

Call of Duty - There was a time when FPS actually made you do teamwork (or for Deathmatch, get you as close to the enemy as possible), knives required more than a hit, no killstreaks, and regenerating health wasn't in every single game.. Then the squeakers attacked and the era of one hit knifing, bitching on games that dont include CoD features, regenerating health everywhere, and squeakers showed up. Oh and EXPLOSIOVE SET PIECES AND A FORGETTABLE STORYLINE. Oh and apparently Dedicated Servers on PC is a huge feature. Oh and DLC maps that cost $14.99 when they used to be free or be part of a expansion pack that had a lot of content.

Team Fortress 2: Primarily they complain on the Steam message boards about hats, lack of hats, fixes Valve shouldve implemented a long time ago, balancing. updates, something related to the Mann Co. Store, etc. Don't say a single word about TF2 and you won't even know they're a fan.

PAYDAY 2: If you're ever looking for a good cooperative first person shooter with a terrible community, visit PAYDAY 2. Hosts kicking you for no good reason, people ragequitting on a botched silent heist (or a host ragequitting and making everyone disconnect because Diesel Engine apparently cant support host migration), hosts kicking you just before the end of the heist even if you contributed greatly. Oh and their constant bitching to/about Overkill and how they released a incomplete/buggy game, demanding refunds, and recently updates. Oh and probably those that were in the beta that never reported problems to Overkill and complained when it was still there.

Mindless EA haters: Yes EA's the devil, yes they have screwed up games/closed down studios but they do actually make some good games.I still cant wrap my head around the fact they won Consumerist's Worst Company award two years in a row despite a one company trying to buy another for the sole reason to eliminate competition, company thats foreclose happy, and more deserving ones.

Then there's Naruto, Hetalia, Apple fanatics,

Sorry if that last post felt directed at you, it sorta came out wrong

But yep, I totally agree! You get some fans who really make a series, and others who just make you think... why? >.>

And the being jealous of the girls thing, is that true? I can see why it would be, but that's actually kinda sad D:

Oh no it fine!

Yes, its very true and I've seen in many places. It is kinda sad yet some of those girls don't want a boyfriend possibly because they fear rejection, they have high standards, and some are just insane.

I don't understand why anyone plays that game anymore. On top of the psychotic fanbase, the game itself has devolved into a bizarre, scammy economy based on hats and crate-gambling. There's probably a connection between those things...

Apple fanatics can be pretty creepy, too. Yeah, Apple products are slightly more reliable...because they aggressively restrict developers and users, and treat the latter like imbeciles. Their PCs are designed like game consoles and priced like BMWs, iPods only play a specific proprietary type of MP3 file, and what do you even do with an iPad? But you sure won't hear the fanboys complaining...about anything. Ever. Except Windows, of course.

Well Sword Art Online was pretty horrific for a while but it seems to have tapered off. Or I adjusted to them by tuning them out like I did with the Naruto/One Piece fans.

The K-On fanbase is just creepy/weird in a lot of ways. A lot like the Friendship Is Magic fandom actually although the FiM fans are more prevalent now and more obnoxious than creepy at this point.

Ya'll nerds got nothing on Patriots fans though. Entitled, whiny, arrogant, jagoffs the lot of them. Steelers, Ravens, and Cowboys fans are also pretty horrible as well.

Of course the Naruto and Bleach fanbases will always be generally annoying. Aside from that, probably Hetalia and NGE. Hetalia is just some stupid, unbelievably offensive (at least to me) show that I will never find funny (because I don't usually find shows that make light of horrible tragedies funny ), and yet there are legions of screaming fangirls shipping the characters as fast as their little sausage fingers can type. Why? We'll never know. They're not even hot guys, they're just sort of...there. The NGE fanbase, on the other hand, is just a bunch of idiots who like to pretend that they're super deep because an anime by an extremely depressed man told them what to think. Enough said.

I agree with you as well. I can't stand seeing comments like that about Justin Bieber or anything even though I'm not his fan. I never knew people were so butt hurt over someone like what they hate. I hear it all the time on Youtube and other places too. Saying "you like what I hate so you should kill yourself" makes me realize there are tons of reality checks needing to be written. It gets worst when you get legit death threats from the haters too. Some people are insane.

*chuckles* As a Jets fan, I feel the pain.

For me, it's Final Fantasy VII. Now, don't get me wrong, I enjoy the game (despite what people are starting to realize is a wretched translation), but ... try being a fan of any other Final Fantasy. Hell, try being a fan of any other JRPG ever. Rabid FF7 fans will always be there to remind you of their "masterpiece" and how it's the best thing ever. People, it's been sixteen years. It's been several console generations. Let it go. Go enjoy it on your own time.

Granted, I'm a little biased. My favorites are 2, 4, 6 ... and 8.
