I'll definitely keep watching this. I really like how everything is animated, though the CG horses are a bit odd. And you can tell that this came from an eroge, as the female characters are both numerous and well-designed. ... For that reason, though, I'll just refer to the show as Pantsu Naito, as there's quite a variety of that on display.

Can't get a read on our main character yet, but he's older and reserved, so I can dig that. Not liking the female lead, though. Mio's kind of a dumbass.

and then there's the begleiter, which appear to be mostly guys. guys who I'm guessing will be preparing those long shafts of wood that the girl knights use for their hard thrusting.

Enjoyed the first episode. Reminded me of A Knight's Tale, but having the women doing the jousting is awesome. Also, the animation was crisp and beautiful. Cannot go wrong with pink-haired women.

I don't like the guy

I get that he is carrying some kind of emotional baggage, but he annoys me.
He also feels kind of unnecessary at this point, show looks like it would work fine without him.

Could have had some retired Old Guy who sees her true potential be Mio's trainer and the whole thing would work just as well.

He does serve an important role in the manga.

So he's a living MacGuffin......not sure if that's much better....

Looked at that way, all characters (and everything else) important to a story are MacGuffins.

Princess Lover... but even more boring. Stereotypical harem rich-girl archtypes and stereotypical lead. In short, not impressive. I can tell you the ending right here and now. The primary girl wins.

isn't that how most harems go, anyway? first girl always wins. I wish more of them would do what Shuffle! did and have the least likely (and best) girl win.

Aside from the total WTF on how they are jousting (Aiming for feathers? No shields? Running your lance full speed straight into armor is asking for broken ribs and skulls....)....

Nitpicking aside, I'm glad the guy didn't just freak out when he saw some undergarments. It's a good sign. I'll watch this if only for the fact it looks to be a bit crazy.

Loved Shuffle!'s ending. The end girl was my favorite all along.

Damn that clumsy girl is annoying. Why do they always start out with the stupid one?

Bestiality is going to happen eventually in this show...

Not sure how I feel about it, just meh I guess. Plenty of fan service which is what the creators were ultimately aiming for I guess. I'll give it a couple of more before deciding to drop or not.
