Meh... Generic show looks generic. Nira already listed off 2 of the other shows I wanna see so aside from that, all I am really dying for at this point is Kyousougiga.

Argh worst than I thought. I hope the remaining shows are not all NA only then. As this going be a very dire season for UK/EU sub payers and I can see some dropping their subs.

Another TBS licencing so not surprised at all that this is just an only NA simulcast. I have the feeling that the next one will be Infinite Stratos 2 being NA only as well =/ (I think is from TBS as well).

Oh well, I'm hoping that CR picks up Pupa, Koroshiya-san, Seiyuu Sentai Voicetorm 7, Nagi no Asukara, Yozakura Quartet, Phi Brain 3 (low posibilities of being in Latin America, but I can dream, right? xD), Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio and BlazBlue Alter Memory.

*.*

Phi Brain might be available for LATAM, second season (I don't know if first was too) was available, so we may got it, I do want Phi Brain too

I think you mean either 'Mao Amatsuka from GJ-bu' or 'Rikka Takanashi from Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions!', because I'm pretty sure Mao wasn't in Chu2koi

We only missed two of the summer season? Really? It felt like more. I can't recall which ones we didn't get as the "season" view seems to filter better than the "lineup" view.

I guess that it was just a lacklustre season for my personal narrative preferences this time around. I started watching a few and just didn't bother keeping up with many.
Although, if one or both of the missing ones hit my "must watch" triggers, it might have jaded me about the rest of the season. Especially if the other shows I liked just didn't quite get me hooked.

I have to admit, I'm tempted to do that. So far everything is a maybe, and the must-watches are not available here. Dropping three months would give me a few extra quid in pocket.

Especially as the other advantage to subscription (play on a TV) becomes moot when there's not much i want to watch. I could easily sit out this season and catch up on BDs and games.

And I have to admit that there is a little part of me that actually wants to see a very significant drop in UK/EU subs on such a heavily restricted season.
I know the fault lies with the licensors and not with CR, but if we keep subscribed anyway it doesn't really give them an incentive to fight harder for UK licenses. But if, however unlikely, they start losing money over missing licenses, maybe it will cause them to have to try harder to keep hold of UK viewers.
Especially if UK/EU types then stop promoting CR to their mates, and they suddenly lose out on ad-revenue from non-licensed areas.

And it's not that I want CR to suffer financially, per se. But if all we do is moan about the low amount of licenses and then still pay for our subscriptions, we are sending mixed messages at that point and not really giving them a reason to need to change.

The real shame, though, is that from February to about July, CR was a reason for me to turn away from bothering with fansubs.
This season, it's turning into a list of what fansubs to hunt down. Not quite why I'm paying for a legal alternative...

C3-bu was probably the one that ticked me off the most.

It's "my kind of quirky". Which is increasingly the same as "what doesn't sell in the UK".

Have to say I agree with you and as of this number 7 not available to the UK, have been thinking the same in regards to dropping the sub till after xmas.

Personally the whole idea of licenses tied to geographic locations for streaming seems really antiquated to me. Back in the day when Anime was only really available via VHS/DVD I could see the logic behind it, due to shipping costs and production cost of dubbing and so forth. It wasn't like if you wanted a particular anime unavailable to you, you could just pop over willy nilly to other country to pick it up. But in the digital age for a subtitled show, when someone could easily swap to another website via a few keystrokes and get the content for free from an illgal fansub, it does seem rather silly to maintain these licenses which can only provide content to particular areas. I feel ultimately trying to maintain the old status quo to try and milk a little bit extra out could actually cost the anime companies potential revenue in the long run. Especially when there are people willing to pay subs to help maintain a legal site to stream anime and they got an potential worldwide audience to possible sell additional related merchandise to at the same time as the shows are airing.

Hell not just anime, but any form of digital content which gets streamed to online. I feel the whole licensing thing needs a real shake up to reflect the changing world. But hey, maybe I'm being very idealistic and unrealistic in my views on the issue.
