Clannad After Story is the ONLY anime that had a profound effect on me and I felt it for 2 weeks. I haven't seen EVERY Kyo, but After Story is my top of any anime.

Air is probably their worst work.

Horrible adaptation all around & very sloppy to try to comprehend.

I see people mention air clannad Kanon.

The stories themselves are from key. Fmp is from a novel (I believe), so when you mention those dies kyoani actually have a part to play? I mean animation , yes.

Unless I am missing something and It is a huge monopoly.

Little Busters! is not an anime adaptation from KyoAni
It's adapted by J.C. Staff

But Kanon, Air, Clannad,Little BUsters! are WRITTEN by Key

Treating all the sequels, specials, etc. as separate entries, my list would probably look like this:
1) Clannad ~After Story~
2) Kanon
3) Clannad
4) Air in Summer
5) K-On!

Together, however, I would rate it like this:
1) Clannad(both seasons + OVA's)
2) Kanon
3) K-On!
4) Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu
5) Lucky Star

The only other ones I have seen are Air and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (first season only). Yes, I rank the Air specials above the series, which I thought was good but not great.

1. Lucky*Star
2. Hyouka
3. Haruhi Suzumiya
4. Clannad(+After Story)
5. K-On

Yeah, KyoAni's probably my favorite, but its main focus was majorly just slow-paced slice of life comedy, some with moe overdose. Even so, you have to admit, their moe-centered anime have a lot more than some of the other moemoe anime out there. + the comedy- even not including their Key adaptions, KyoAni makes me laugh more than most others.

About my rankings, Lucky*Star was pretty much the whole reason why I started watching non-shounen/mainstream anime. It might also just be me, but it's probably the best(if not, one of) anime that deviated majorly from its source.
Hyouka would have been first, but the ending wasn't as satisfying as Lucky*Star's.
Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu- many people hate this because of Haruhi: so what? She's over 50% of the anime! Hating Haruhi is like metaphorically hating your inner self for clinging to childish beliefs/dreams and being selfish. Overall, it was an extremely unique piece of work- one which caught my attention and forced me to think about it deeper.
Clannad...is probably one of Key's greatest works- I'm so happy that KyoAni was the one that animated it. I just...cried a bit too much...
K-On is both hated and loved. I, for one, enjoyed it, though. Sure, they didn't really play music despite being a music anime, but for an anime based of a 4-panel, it served its initial purpose of comedy.
As for Free!.... to me, it just seemed like KyoAni was making a reverse K-On, and after making Chu2, it felt a little out of place. But that's just me.

The only reason why Kyoukai no Kanata isn't on the list is because I don't usually judge an anime until episode 4. This one really hooked my interest there, so I want to finish it completely before giving it any further judgement.

1) Hyouka
2) My Ordinary Life
3) Love, Chunibyō, & Other Delusions
4) Tamako Market
5) Free!

More like, the only KyoAni shows I've watched from start to finish. I had a really tough time between Hyouka and My Ordinary Life. In all honesty, My Ordinary Life was the best comedy, slice-of-life anime I've seen in 2011 and probably among my top 5 anime of all time. It carried such a meaningful message on how valuable the circumstances, as well as the unpredictable, that arises are in our daily lives even though we may not realize it ourselves. Plus, a heck load of passion and fun fun was put into the animation apparently, as it becomes much more noticeable in the second-half. Hyouka was a fantastic, and thoughtful show from the start for me. It only went above My Ordinary Life by a rank because of the ending. It was an open ending, but one that provided a truly proper conclusion for the time-being.

I'd so watch sequels for My Ordinary Life (though it's more likely I'll have to pick up the manga if it ever gets localized), Hyouka, Chu-2 (putting it on-hold), and Tamako Market (waiting on Sentai to release the film). But not for Free tbh.

I didn't include Clannad or Haruhi since I've yet to see After Story or The Disappearance.
