my copy of vol. 3 is currently sitting at home waiting for me to rip the shipping box open like a kid on christmas.

the sales are kinda low, even if it's ranked 7th.. that's a little disappointing. such a good anime.

Some fine folks may be unaware that right now, and for the next 14 hours or so, Kyousougiga is engaged in battle in our very own forums, in a thread that's becoming an annual favorite.

We're in the semi-finals and Kyousougiga is facing off against Railgun S. If you want to show your support for Kyousougiga, and enjoy a lot of fine commentary about the best anime shows of 2013, come on over and join the fun.

Remember when you post your vote, you need to state your reason, even if it's something like "I vote for Kyousougiga because Koto's hammer is amazing." But you can go into a lot more detail also.

Here again is the link to the battle thread. Details are in the first post.

BTW, I only finished Kyousougiga this weekend, after watching it in too distracted a state when it first aired and dropping it. So glad I gave it another try (but a little sad that I missed the week to week discussion--now I'll be going back to read that.)

Went back and watched this again, it's amazing how little chatter we got on it.

I guess you really just can't say much about perfection.

It is pretty much the definition of a hidden gem. I've rewatched it already as we'll not too long ago and found myself noticing a lot more than the first time round. For example who the council temple place (can't remember the exact name) is designed to look like a cradle linking to the whole thing about Myoue.
