Cockroaches. I don't know why but i've alway been terrified of them just thinking about them make me shiver. And it's not the same with all insects, just cockroaches.

Thunderstorms used to scare the shit out of me but not anymore thankfully. Now it's driving.
I hate over-used jokes, it's just tiresome.

Fear: Mirrors in the dark.
I also have a pretty bad fear of lightning but that's justified because lightning can kill.

Hate:Random people.
I just have a really strong tendency to hate people instantly. *shrug*

I refuse to mention my fears.

Hate: people sending death threats to others simply for stating their harmless opinion, pointless damn internet fights over bullshit, crazy/stupid/arrogant/obnoxiously immature fanboys and fangirl putting their love on a white pedestal, and a few other things I'm to lazy to name.

FEAR:
Insanity. Well, not "insanity," per say. I fear mental illnesses that threaten my iron-clad grip on my mind and emotions, particularly my memories. Insanity is my greatest enemy, though Dementia and Alzheimer's have me wanting to die young. My memories mean the world to me. It's bad enough that I have ADHD (ADD) that's severe enough to legitimately interfere with my driving and work. I fear losing control over myself.

Advanced age. Rather, the deteriorating mental and physical health that goes along with it. I'm currently having to watch my grandparents suffer, and I don't want to put myself and others through this particular pain.

My fears themselves aren't irrational, but I question the degrees of fright that they inspire. On a scale, I give the fears a 6/10. Just thinking about my knees giving out and/or pelvic fractures when I'm 70+ years-old makes my bones ache.

HATE:
Nothing, really. There are some things that I greatly dislike, but an irrational hatred? No.

While it's definitely one of the most common fears, I don't find my fear of spiders rational, especially since I don't live in an area with black widows or any sort of deadly spider...interestingly, it has been shown that places where spiders are fewer and less diverse are those that tend to have the most aracnophobes.

Also, I often hate people whose friendliness and charisma go overboard, but that's probably related to some childhood experience that I haven't recalled yet.
