BUT ABOUT THAT KILL LA KILL! You announced more regions to it later on and said: "Availability for these expanded regions will start in 2 months". So does it mean that people in those countries will be able to watch the episodes when it has almost already stopped airing?

Well, that's basically what happened with Love Lab during the previous season, too.

So... Funimation has only Pupa (of quality looking titles) left....... And we don't even know when it airs!

Apparently Pupa is a streaming series on Nico Nico. That typically means no simulcast will be available until it airs on TV, which usually is the following season.

And the last one will be....Tokyo Ravens?

Keep in mind CR could just as easily add another "?" box when they announce another simulcast.

That does appear to be the case. While I have yet to fathom what the publisher's reason behind this could be, consider it a "better late than never" scenario.

We do have something of a precedent, as when it was announced that the regions for Oreimo 2 would be expanded along with CR getting the OVAs for the second series, those region expansions were also not implemented concurrent with the announcement.

Yeah. I need to catch up on Love Lab. I'm only on about episode 5. In part because of how the release was handled. Drip-feeding the backlog didn't make sense.

They finally released it. Only episodes 1&2 went live in the first week. I was away on vacation, without access to decent internet, the next two weeks. haven't got enough of an attachment yet to the show to marathon it.
I would have been committed had it come out on time. It's just really bad timing that it came out just as I was away across two weekends.

I wonder how many will wait two months for Kill la Kill, how many will just acquire elsewhere and (maybe the most important statistic) how many will refuse to torrent but find that their interest in the show has cooled by the time it hits their region[*].

[*] Geographical release lag has had this effect on me in the past. I choose not to import or pirate, preferring to wait for an official release of a show or game, then find that by the time it comes out I'm not in a hurry to buy it anymore.

How many shows were up for grabs this season total? Seems like CR got quite a few, and the list is still going.

Daisuki has Kill la Kill available fairly broadly, "world wide (except the following regions: Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, some Asian areas, France and some French-speaking areas)". But their site's software has never seemed to work very smoothly at least for me, so I'll eventually watch it on CR as well. (They don't really have a proper selection in my neighbourhood, either, so there's no competition: aside from this new addition, only Madoka, SAO, and some Gundam.)

Note that the AllTheAnime.com/simulcasts page has Kill la Kill for the UK/Eire (& Isle of Man ... onya Cavo) ... and they've teased a second simulcast, which based on the series that Wakanim.tv have for France could be Samurai Flamenco or Bazblue.

Terms at Wakanim.tv will be free simulcast for the first month, premium 69p streaming "rental" after that, and 1.25 quid downloads per episode, but it seems that AllTheAnime.com will be doing the simulcast right now while Wakanim.tv gets set up for the UK/Eire.

Edit: The news is that it is Samurai Flamenco that will be available to the UK/Eire at AllTheAnime.com.
