Valeria Messalina, a fascinating women. I think she would fit very well in today's society given that women have more sexual freedom and even tho sexual double standard is still a reality.it's not as bad as it once was, in some countries.

How will the femnazis react towards her?!

I don't know..I have no relationship with them. I don't even know if I know what a "femnazi" is.

Fem-nazis are those hardcore strict Nazi type feminist.

No you are wrong..it's a term made up by Rush Limbaugh (no friend of equality). Or it's a term used by insecure men.

Agreed. However, that's not to say that Misandrists who call themselves 'feminists' do not exist.

So true..I am not one of them and think that is just as horrifying. I just don't understand the human race..why is it we can't rejoice in all human experience without putting each other down..or in a narrow box.
BTW..I don't think of myself as a feminist. I hate labels. I picked Messalina because for a woman of her time she behaved in such a ballsy manner..surely she must have known that her days were numbered. And I see nothing wrong with a female loving male "company". Why should this be a crime? Forgive my soapbox.

Careful, call yourself a humanist instead of a feminist and the firebrands of the 'if you're not with us you're against us' school of feminism will take mortal offense. "Feminism is about equality for all humans" so calling yourself a 'humanist' is a slap in the face to them. Sorry, recent ... irritating conversation I had.

Don't worry about your soapbox, I feel the same way as you about Valeria... (though to be honest I had to google her to remember who she was. I'm TERRIBLE with names.)

I Think she would be an interesting choice, and would get along fine.
