As the title says what are some little known anime (new or old) you feel were good enough to warrant more attention than they did?
A couple for me were:
Bokura Ga Ita

Rizelmine

and Katekyo Hitman Reborn

I feel Baccano!, Princess Jellyfish and Baka and Test need more love.

Rizelmine should definitely get more attention (since so many new shows act like it.)
Full Moon o Sagashite: Cardcaptor Sakura overshadowed it ; _ ;

Sora no Manimani Probably the only anime I've asked a licensing company to license.

Space Runaway Ideon (overshadowed by Evangelion >.>)

Panzer World Galient (overshadowed by the massive number of giant robot anime)

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Children: A year after Digimon came out, a show replaced the timeslot for Monster Racher called "DeviChil." It featured kids (Devil Children) with guns (Devil Risers) that shoot pentagrams and fuse Demons together.

It also sported a strangely violent manga.

And a card game: (Undine & Dullahan)

Two years later, the gameboy advanced game came out in English. I was hoping to see uproar or funny comparisons. But.. it just didn't sell...

It's not really obscure I guess, but Shin Sekai Yori was fantastic and absolutely deserved more attention.

VOTOMS is a great pick (as is Dougram, by the same creator, but much easier to follow), but good luck getting to see all of the different OAVs and source materials that feed into it.

Sorry folks, we already have a very similar thread so I'm closing this one and ask that you contribute in the other thread instead:

/forumtopic-808049/animes-to-watch-that-you-might-not-know-about

Please remember when posting images to follow the guidelines in our site rules. It's preferred that you include no more than two images in your post, and if there are more that you want to share, include a link to them rather than embedding them in the post (imgur is a commonly used site for hosting your images if you don't already have a place where you keep them to share.)

Thanks! (These look like some great suggestions, but I am trying not to look too closely because right now my anime plate is already too full!)
