I use firefox as well and had no problems with this particular episode. The only times I've had video difficulties is when a show is just released or I guess during peak website times.

Anyone else having trouble with the episode stopping and then trying to jump to the next ep?

Yes, that's happening to me as well. I'm using Chrome at the moment.

/Edit: re-started it using Internet Explorer 11 and it's working fine now. Let's see if I can get through the entire episode.

/Edit 2: Yeah, that did it. Try switching to Internet Explorer (IE) if you can and try it again. I happen to be using IE 11 with Windows 8.1, but I also tested it with IE 10 on Windows 7 and it works as well.

FYI ... i was running the 720p stream. Didn't try the other encodes.

Cheers.

The end of the latest ep was sweet and sad. I think this is just as good as Natsume, or at least could be. Kinda like it better cause of the girl lead, and the fox spirit though. :3

episode 3 I really like the feel of this anime.

Its touches on how our human mortality is so short in time in the grand scheme of things. I do believe in spirits and in the eternities and that our existense do not end here but continous and the bond we have with others ...of course there is no proof in the matter

So this episode has such an impact on me. I feel sad when realizing how short our life are , to question at ttimes why I am here , what is the purpose of my existence.

I like anime that makes me think and feel ;)

I love Natsume too , and it has a much better animation and the storytelling style but the feel is different becuase of the roles of the characters.

I really enjoy shows like this that can make this heartwarming feeling happen. Natsume did it best, though this show is still very good.

Episode 4

Episode felt slow. I'm not used to this new kid yet but he seems to have some issues.

Yeah. I'll keep tuned to see how this goes.

Good episode but moved slow, lots of pacing in the last part of the episdoe

Haru was annoying as heck. He wasnt her herald and he is trying to scold her. Thats a very nice guest ....for me to poop on. ...sorry.but I guess you need those type of characters to creat conflict lol
, so whats that suppose to mean... a hallow shrine, a commercial shrine .

Well this particular newbie seiyuu Kensho Ono is hired for his flat affect delivery , similar to Kuroku lol , he is starting to get busy but not like Hosoya yet

The pace of episode 4 felt fine to me though overall they aren't going to get very far into the story in one cour of anime for a manga that started over 4 years ago!

I love the OP tiny lamp, and have ordered it. Gets me going every time!

Yes, following The Eccentric Family's Que Sera Sera, tiny lamp is another excellent song! I will be following their releases.

And if you haven't heard it, there is also a nice "faded memories" remix of tiny lamp on the album! The B-side Hajimari no Sayounara (Beginning Farewell) is really good too though both this title and "faded memories" have ominous tones if they end up being used as insert songs. And an instrumental version of both is also included.

Nice cover as well:

And a good sign for sales, they are sold out on amazon and back ordered at HMV!

I know you're in Canada, but depending on which iTunes you use, the Tiny Lamp EP has actually been released on American iTunes.

EDIT: I really hope to hear more of their music around with shows. I think their singer's voice is really good and their overall sound has enough of a quirk to separate it from normal J-Pop/Rock.

Not sure if iTunes Canada has it but most likely they do. Changing us to ca in that link still works.

Call me crazy but I am back to physical media, especially anime related. I like to get the actual cover and booklet in Japanese. iTunes has lost some of the old albums I bought, I forget to back them up, the burned CDs don't last as long... but mostly I would rather get the actual thing so I get to enjoy the artwork every time I play it. Quaint? Eccentric? Perhaps LOL

Haha no, no, I understand, at least in part. I like physical media for video (DVD's mostly), but I'm super anal about getting album artwork right in iTunes. We all have our weird quirks, anyways
