Sometimes crunchyroll inexplicably doesn't create a "coming soon" thumbnail for the next episode of a show. When your queue is as big as mine, it's much easier to see if there are any new episodes to watch when only the new episodes have real thumbnail images.

That's what this script does. If the "next" episode in a show has more than 60% marked progress then it will replace the thumbnail image with the "coming soon" one. You can see which ones have been updated as they will still have the (greyed instead of orange) progress bar below the thumbnail image.

The script is here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/179463

Here's an example of what it looks like:

Unfortunately, crunchyroll has even further issues where it sometimes doesn't actually update the progress level of the shows you watch. Especially for short stuff like previews. This script relies on the progress level, so if it's not updated then it won't work. Nothing can really be done about it.

But otherwise, I only have this problem because crunchyroll has done an awesome job of getting new shows each season! So it's not the worst problem to have. Hopefully user scripts like this won't be needed soon. Again, it's only really needed if you have a ton of shows in the queue. In those cases the mixture of "coming soon" thumbnails, fake next episode thumbnails and real next episode thumbnails is annoying.

I updated my script to also now automatically move episodes with new shows to the top of the queue.
