Ah. I remember that's my second reason for never wanting to keep a journal... I've never wanted to take the chance that someone could learn everything about me, or a skewed perception of me, by reading my personal thoughts.

Edit: Spoilered for going off topic / delving into paranoia.

I have a journal for occasional rants that I have. It's nestled safe online on my livejournal.

I have online and paper journal. I enjoy writing in both when I feel the need to express myself. My old journal have been collecting dust since I haven't been writing in them for years.

I like the idea of keeping a journal. Especially a dream journal. It's just that I never keep up with it...

I tried several times, but I could never decide what was or wasn't worth writing down, so I just ended up with pages of unimportant details about the day. Then I tried to keep one with more actual content, but I was so paranoid about someone finding it that I used such a complicated/convoluted system (written in a combination of two languages transcribed using the alphabets/characters from two other languages) that it's too much work to figure out what I wrote.

It's good for venting. I'm one of those people who hates to confide in others because it's rare to find someone around my age who genuinely cares these days. And can help. So,

Is a diary and journal the same thing?
haha anyway, I've been keeping one since I could write and it really helps me put down all my feelings and let out all my frustrations. And I love to go back and reread them because I'M FCKING HILARIOUS.

I tried once or twice, but I recorded my voice instead. I kept forgetting about it on a daily basis, so I only recorded myself once every two weeks or once every month. I still need to delete that off my iTunes. So much unnecessary ranting.

I have a journal, but I write in it pretty much once every blue moon. I usually only write in it when I have troubling/negative thoughts or when I'm going through a period of depression. I haven't felt that way for about a year now, so I have moved away from writing down my thoughts. I will probably write something down tomorrow just to see what it feels like after such a long time. XD

I've never really gotten into the habit of it, even though I've tried more than a few times. I have a blog that I post my opinions on every once in a while, but other than that, I don't do much towards keeping a journal. I do have a book for writing down what I've learned during studying, that's separate from my note books. I keep it almost as a home made dictionary of sorts. It's not really a journal, but I do find myself looking at the older entries and laughing a bit at how much I've learned since writing them.

I used to have a journal when I was little. I just do a video diary because its easier. It helps me get things off my chest and its better than typing a rant.

~ o,..,o ~ Mmm i like writing in them, but for some reason i can't be consistant. But i do love writing and it is a good way of venting ones frustrations, and putting order to ones thoughts to make plans for things. Hmmm, i get pretty dramatic in mine..
