A women was arrested for assaulting her cheating boyfriend.
Here's the video down below.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoWX1T8Ubq8

The video does have subtitles but I'm not sure if they're accurate or not. According to a few articles I've read this took place in Hong Kong. The women was arrested and the man was sent to the hospital.

What are your thoughts?
Theoretically speaking, what would you do if you were put in this scenario?

My thoughts: I feel this is disgusting and horrible. I feel sympathy for the person going through this because no one should ever hit anyone. Looking through the comments in the video some individuals found this hilarious, but if the roles were switched they would be furious.

I checked out the video and watched some of it but couldn't stand to watch the rest of it. -_- I hate violence and don't condone what she did to him at all. It is disgusting and horrible and I feel bad for the guy in the video. However, and I know that I'm playing a bit of a Devil's Advocate here, I have been in a situation where I was almost cheated on, and one where I was cheated on. The one where I was almost cheated on was when I was with my ex-husband, and he wanted to cheat on me with my then female best friend but she, luckily, had no desire to do anything like that with him. I wanted to slap him over it, and did actually slap him once in the face during a heated fight, though not that hard. To be fair, he did abuse me and it was sort of payback for the abuse he put me through, which was much, much worse than that. Now, I am not a violent person, far from it, but he drove me to do things that I didn't like to protect myself. He brought the worst out in me during those times and I was lucky to get away from him.
The other was with my now ex-boyfriend earlier this year. I found out that he was cheating on me through Facebook, of all places, because our relationship was long-distance. I felt many emotions over it, and one of them was anger, for various reasons. Even though he didn't really deserve it, one of the thoughts that my anger led to was slapping him across the face. Now, I wouldn't condone myself to ever do that to him, or to anyone else, again, but just the thought of it made me feel better for some reason. My anger manifesting as a physical desire I guess.
Part of the problem is that violence has become commonplace in our shows, movies, etc., and even somewhat in our daily lives, reading and seeing on the news about all the violent things that happen. Now, I'm not scolding anyone for this or blaming anyone, I'm just saying that it's prevalent and some people think that it's all right because of that. I however am not one of those people.

He was bound to get a smack for it. Laws are laws and domestic disputes can be really heavy.

OP, if the roles where switched I don't think it would have lasted a second, I calls it hows I sees it.

That guy should have stood up and left, where's his dignity?

Also love the crowd, "dump her" , "she's a bitch" , "stand up" Couldn't agree more.

what uncletim said, at some point you gotta put a stop to that shit. Either get up & walk away or lay her out.

She was really gangsta lol. She should have made the cops kneel too. I didn't watch the whole thing but it was funny.

Only bad thing is... I really hope he doesn't kill himself, people do that sometimes....

He was Chinese so he'll probably just stab 21 school kids.

Given how smart phones are like a right hand to most people over there, I'm surprised to not see more people standing around video taping it.

As for the issue itself, the guy deserves a slap, yes but there's only so much one should put up with and that was well beyond such.

Whoa whoa, isn't killing people what we do in America? Maybe not kids that often though. But other countries do the suicide thing I think.

I hope he doesn't follow either of those generalizations though. If no one dies then we could make a romantic comedy out of it or something. Or at least some kind of fun story.
