Just curious, which male voice range do you prefer?

I personally prefer deep male singing voice.

Like in this song, Green Gloves by The National: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouO6bhN5rsM

The guy that sings "normal" is my favorite male vocalist. I guess you could say his voice is "medium deep" but he can sing really high also.

Moved to polls.

For me it depends on the music, but I guess in general I like higher voices. Some of the most beautiful singing I've heard is from Alfred Deller, a countertenor.

I like medium-deep the best, but I can listen to deep also. High is ok, but i cant listen to squeaky high.

Mostly deep, but there are some higher pitched voices that I enjoy such as Robert Smith from the Cure. I also like deeper female vocals. Kind of that husky whisper you hear a lot in Downtempo.

Medium / Grunge / Smoker
Saron Gas / Seether - Beer

I also stain my pants a little when I hear scratchy female vocalists
In This Moment - Blood
Flyleaf - I'm So Sick

I hate listening to guys that sound like they have nothing between their legs in general. It's annoying. Sound like a man and grow a pair. Too deep and I can barely understand you.

Deep, since most of my favorite bands have a male vocalist with a deep voice, but high works too for power metal.

Few examples for those interested in what I meant by Deep voices

The 69 Eyes - Betty Blue

Dommin - My Heart, Your Hands

The Sisters of Mercy - Black Planet

In the verses, sounds high.
But on the bridge, it's deep.

I listened to one of his song on youtube called "Music for a while", sounded exotic to me as I'm not used to listening to high male voices.

The lyrics in the first video are hilarious and disturbing at the same time...

Deep. Frank Sinatra is one of my favourite male singers, and a real classy gentleman.

It's also probably why I'm one of the few people to like KAITO's voice from Vocaloids.
