Oooh, that's a tough one. I like different types of voices. Sometimes I like rough, dominant voices (like of hard rock/metal). Other times I like velvety, smooth voices (like in soft rock/pop). I would say I don't like high pitched voices of men...but then I heard a guy that pulled it off very well.

How about a guy with a good vocal range? Somebody that can switch in between?

i would say his voice is in the "high" category. but if you have clips of him being able to sing deeper then i'd like to hear it.

I agree, his voice is naturally high, but his vocal range is quite large. He likes to change it up a lot during live performances more than in the studio. He's been dead for three years now, aa, it's been so long. If you'd like to look him up, it would do him a great honor I'm sure, and I would be happy to know someone else has discovered his music. This song is a bit heavy, in terms of his screaming and the guitars, but the majority of his music, although all a bit dark, are usually quite soft. He's even created a bit of popish style music. My favorite from him is 腐った海で溺れかけている僕を救ってくれた君 (You saved me from drowning in a rotten sea), just because of the nostalgia, and sadly the irony I feel from it. I've even heard somewhere that he's coached a few people back in the day, including but surely not limited to, Satsuki from Rentrer en Soi.

Lol at Justin Beiber in the squeaky high category! I once made the mistake of saying to a super-duper-JB-fangirl "I'm sure he'll sound better once his voice breaks", only to find out it already had

I guess medium is my preferred choice for male singing voices, although I have great respect for deep male voices since they're usually in a genre that requires greater richness
