If so, why?

Moe is lovely!
Why do people hate them?

No I am not, especially because true moe, and not what a lot of people mislabel as "moe", is something subjective. True moe is a feeling induced by the characters, so of course that is something that changes from person to person.

Can some please explain what moe is. I've been watching Anime, and reading manga now for a good 6 years of my life, and I have yet to understand what it is.

Moe is something that is cute, innocent, helpless, and endearing. Usually has very large eyes. A common thread is that moe characters are meant to provoke a desire to protect them. TV Tropes has a big article explaining in detail exactly what it means. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Moe

Moe, in and of itself, does not bother me, but the overt sexualization of it by certain fans (and creators) of the aesthetic, especially coupled to loli characters, does tend to make me uncomfortable.

Hating a thematic artstyle despite the number of amazing shows that use that style is akin to hating a show for no other reason than its popularity. I am not and will never be a moe hate brigadier.

I'll support the good, clean fun sort of moe that's sprinkled into something. A little every now and then is good for the soul. That said, moe in excessive or poor taste such as the moe-blobs are considered a nuisance. Even more so when moe characters are put in a sexually appealing light. Sexy and innocent cannot co-exist. To try and make something look "sexy" or act in a sexual manner omits it from being moe.

Is there a #ImInBetween section? I don't hate moe things and I don't like them either. Its half and half for me.
