More improvement last night, although I did experience some buffering in the latter part of the evening on Chunibyo's second season. For the record, I am posting here mainly to keep a current, running log for awareness of the issues and constructive feedback. I’m hoping that others also post about their issues, as well.

SSDX - I have also experienced your pain and frustration with service and customer support over the months that this has continued. It drove me to write on the forum and to their customer service. As a member of Premium CR for five years, I have had good service from the site across most platforms over the majority of that time. I only desire good communication on the issues and fixes from Crunchyroll as an end result of this thread but am trying to go about it in a respectful and supportive manner. I'm certain that this is a more productive path to getting improvements from Crunchyroll than venting frustration here on the board about the issues. I strongly suspect at USD $6.99 a month, or even the higher $11.99, none of us will move the needle to get a fix if individually if we cancel, especially given the influx of new members on new platforms such as PS VITA. Don't take this personally, but I hope you'll consider focusing on the issues impartially in this thread rather than venting your frustration in a belligerent manner… mainly, to keep this thread from getting locked and not to handicap other members who are trying to be more constructive. The more exposure and lengthier it gets, the more likely attention will be given to these issues as they pop up in search engines, first in the help forum updates, etc..

Crunchyroll has been like this for a while(a year or more perhaps) already and they havent fix it at all. Been giving me the run around for a while and no fix in sight.Same as you im using a 100/100 connection (crunchyroll know this it already asked me this info)and all they said,after back and forward between me and their "tech" support , it was basically not their fault.Take that answer as you will. They know i already gave up,only waiting for sub to run out .

So I'd been having this problem for the last couple of weeks. CR support basically told me to check my flash (which I'd already done...) and gave me instructions for Windows (when I said I'm on Linux...), but I finally found a solution on my own.

Go to https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/cp150757.edgefcs.net and it should give you a list of IP addresses for crunchyroll content servers.

Then pick one from the list. (Generally ones from DNS servers near you are going to be better, but do some ping tests to work out which one is best for you).

Set that address as cp150757.edgefcs.net in your hosts file.

Using this technique I cut my ping from 150ms+ to 25ms, and now my video is super smooth.

Edit: Note that if the CR content servers change, your videos might stop working... in that case you'll need to repeat the process with a new server

Honestly, i have given Crunchyroll enough of a chance to even address the issue, but they have refused to do so. It is rather sad to finally cancel my subscription after nearly five years, but i find the lack of support and honesty just not worth my money. What bothers me is not the fact that there is a problem but the fact that they do nothing but pretend there isnt a problem.

It's normal for Crunchyroll, I occasionally have nights where I get constant buffering like tonight.

But other nights it's quite reliable, anyone who has been here a while has already gone through the usual troubleshooting with staff and know it's a complete waste of time.

It's been over a year since I joined and it's always been this way, I've had three ISP's since joining at different addresses and Crunchyroll still stutters. Either end your subscription or put up with it, because it's unlikely to get fixed anytime soon.

Thought it was supposed to be better now? Shame I am still having some lagging. Admittly not as much but still having to pause it. For the minutes it doesn't though, it is great.

Seems people are still having issues. I'll still be here lurking through the forums and hopefully one day this $hit gets fixed. Right now Netflix &Funimation are my alternatives.

So, I was using this method when BAAAM! I realized that CR has only ONE CDN for the entire Latin-American region. I mean, Brazil has like 30 (if not more) million people. Its just isn't enough. And what about USA, they have like 5 CDN for a huge-ass population. Thats small, low, or whatever you want to put it.

I wan't to know how I can do that same process of chosing my closest CDN but on windows. Can you tell me more?? I'm using OpenDNS and its been helping a little.
