I prefer Anime but I dable in Manga. Manga is mostly when the Anime doesn't really have a decent ending [season ends mid story and nothing comes after but the Manga is complete].

For me it comes down to two things. Availability and price. I only recently started watching alot of anime because anime finally became reasonably priced. Lets be honest here, just a few years ago a half season of any anime would run you $50+ here in the states, and that was usually bad anime that no one liked. The good stuff was going for 75 or more for a HALF season. I still watched some of it with friends who bought entire collections of animes like Trigun, Blue Gender, Kenichi, Peace Maker, Fist of the North Star, Akira etc etc. but it was just way too prohibitive price wise to ever really get into. I mean I could watch reruns of my favorite shows for the price of cable and catch alot of good movies on demand for no extra charge. The internet has finally made anime accessible for a huge audience that kinda shrugged at it before because of the price and availability.

Manga is also the same way for me. I can go pick up a comic(or collection of comics) and not feel ripped off. I'd have to spend upwards of 15$ for a single chapter in a manga. (usually 20-25$ for stuff I actually have an interest in.) It just feels way too overpriced to get into.

Anime is easy for me. I spend 6$ a month here and 7$ over on netflix and I get a really good spread. Hulu Plus is a rip off and I refuse to pay for it but hey for free it's not bad when they get a title I really want to watch.

Both, but I do lean more towards anime, since I'm more of a visual person.

Personally, I like the novellizations the best. Secondarily, I prefer to watch anime, for the immediacy, but it has some serious shortcomings in its ability to get to the breadth and depth of story telling possibly in manga and novel form. Mangas... ungh... To be honest with you, they're a PITA to find and read. If it's old, you can only find pieces, if it's new, it's months to get the next portion usually (and if it's printed in comic book format, it's a LOT of money, and you still move at a snails pace to get a decent sized chunk of story). With novels, you get the full story all at once which you don't get with manga, and you get the breadth and depth anime lacks.

They mean like what type of medium that's somewhat adult we like the most? I think that was the question. Unless I have a messed up mind.

No. Which medium do we prefer? End of question.

Restriction: must be over 17 to answer this question.

He's looking for the demographics on preference within a specific sector of the CR population.
