When I was around ten, when I told my sister that I wouldn't do her chores- She almost choked me to death. She literally grabbed my neck and lifted up off the ground into the wall.

True story, but when I was living in Hawaii my heart stopped beating for 2 minutes while I was lying on an ER table after a really bad accident I was involved in. The only thing that I remember being aware of was warmth and a feeling of contentment. Then I opened my eyes to a bunch of military medical personnel.

Let's see here...

When I was 13 or so, my younger sister pushed me into a lit fireplace. I was wearing, BRIEFLY mind you, flannel pajamas. Did you know flannel is HIGHLY flammable?

Around 14-15. the same sister ran into me, and I fell out of a window. On the second story. That was still closed. I've still got lots of scars from that one.

My father's car decided to try to kill me, he almost ran into me with it, but I managed to dodge and he hit the house. Gear shift got stuck.

When I was 17, I ripped my arm out of my socket, like literally our of the socket and out of the skin, while playing dodgeball. Apparently poorly.

When I was 21, I lost my leg to the flesh eating bacteria, necrotizing fasciitis . DID die from that one, but I was resuscitated.

And lastly, (For now), I got a weird form of Tuberculosis that doesn't infect other people, but DOES cause awful suppurating wounds and abscesses all over the body. Highly resistant to antibiotics, etc. Wasn't fun, got lots of scars for that one too.

So yeah, a few. Hopefully no more, it really isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

When I was three my dad brought me to his construction site to pick up a check real quick, which was on the third story. Some buildings, especially older ones, have a significant space between the inside wall and the outside wall, so while he was talking and put me down I walked over right off the edge. He saw me fall and went racing down to the basement knowing I was dead, but I wasn't there. He finally looked up via an access panel and saw me where my coat had caught a nail about seven feet from the concrete, and apparently I wasn't even concerned. I personally remember neither of those, both were recounted by my mum and dad.

lol, this reminds me of something. Anyway, I get the part were you weren't concerned. I continued doing crazy stuff without fear into my early teens but now that I think about it..damn, I was lucky because now I can feel the fear since life means something now. I'm convinced that if I was afraid then I would have ended up dead from all occasions lol.

Pretty much drowned when I was a kid, but I was resuscitated by who is now my girlfriend, Almost been hit by a car 5 times, almost hit by a bus, fell on a knife cutting open my stomach, could have died. I stopped breathing once due to medication I was on, which almost killed me.

All I can really think of was one time when I was riding around the block on my bike and a car going probably 60 in the middle of a neighborhood tried to pass me and tapped my handlebars as he went.

Other than that, if we count times I THOUGHT I was going to die but wasn't really, I once almost cut the tip of my left index finger off with a door (ended up tearing all of the flesh that holds the nail on), I have had my fingers run over by a golf-cart on a gravel road, I have been electrocuted by a power socket, and once slipped on a concrete floor and landed directly on my elbow (I was about 5 foot 10 and 180 pounds, so this is not a small amount of force) and passed out for about 30 seconds.

Oh, and once when I was 9 in Alaska I was about 100 feet from a bear, alone, without a gun.

I've had a lot. Probably can't even remember all of them. Not deciding to run across a road just as a speeding car passes by for example. Or almost drowning a few times too. Almost also slipped off a cliff once. The worst ones? There are 3 that I was pretty curious about and still am today. The 3 have similarities and are mysterious to say the least. First one happened when I was younger and I still remember it almost clearly. I woke up in my bed, almost unable to move and having a hard time breathing. I couldn't talk either and all I could fell was that something was wrong, terribly wrong. That feeling where you just know that you're unable to do anything about a thing. I don't know what this thing was and i don't know how long this lasted. I just remember having this intense feeling. Stuff that happened afterwards is in a blur, but I probably just woke up and went on with my life. I also didn't remember that it had happened until months after.

2nd time this happened was during a field trip. It was almost over and everyone from my class had gathered close to a swing. This swing was formed as a ball and it was right at the start of a very steep slope. Everyone tried it and 5 minutes before we were to go home, it was my turn. Can't remember anything from that point and until I woke up in a car later, with a broken arm and a heavy concussion. I have absolutely no idea how this had happened. Parents told me that I probably just lost my grip....but a video says otherwise. Some of my classmates was making a random video when it happened out of coincidence. In this video I can see myself fall from the swing and down onto some WELLPLACED rocks, then to roll down a long slope filled with more stones and branches. The weird thing is that I didn't say anything at all until about 10 seconds after I'd reached the end of the slope and I reacted with some loud mumbles before passing out completely.

3rd time was about 3-4 years later, similar to the 1st one. Same thing happened and I also didn't remember it until months after.

I was riding a quad up in the mountans, on one side of the road was the mountain the other side was the cliff. I hit a pothole in the middle of rode and it caught tire and flung the quad to the right. I must of hit my head or something because I blacked out for a second, and when I woke up I was lying by the edge of the cliff and saw the quad tumbling and crashing down, which was at least half a mile of steep incline.

If I had went with it, I would not have survived. We couldn't recover the quad because by the time we got to it, it was torn to shreds.
