Welp, I kind of called that. But for Wacca to throw like he did today, amazing.

Tigers fan here. It's going to be tough for Detroit needing 2 wins at Fenway, but if they are going to do it you couldn't ask for 2 better pitchers for the job in Scherzer and Verlander. GO TIGERS!!!

Woohoo! Tigers just took a 2-1 lead in the 6th inning! At first, I was wondering if they would ever score! xD

In other baseball news, Kershaw was offered a 300 million dollar contract!

I'd say Kershaw is worth it to be honest. He's without a doubt the best pitcher in baseball. And will be for years to come. I'd do anything for the Sox to have someone that amazing. Easily my favorite player right now.

Love the Dodgers and so bummed about game 6. But no player is worth $300 million for 10 years. How's that ARod contract working out? How is the Pujols contract working out? How did the Kevin Brown contract work out? Too much can happen in 10 years or even less than 5 years with injuries, age, or players just losing "it" for no reason.

Aaaand that's a wrap for Detroit. After the grand slam by Boston, there isn't any point in staying up to watch the rest of the game. Poor Max, just when things were looking up for us, too. By the way, the "Detroit's bankrupt!" chants are pathetic, and so are the fans who participate in them.

Congrats to Boston nonetheless, but I won't be pulling for them. As for the Tigers, well, at least we got to piss off the A's again. Max was awesome as always, and I'm really proud of the Tigers' overall season. As for the WS, there's always next year. I just hope Torii won't decide he doesn't want to stay with the Tigers after this.

All my teams are gone, except the Red Sox. (Yes, I was rooting for more than one.)

Go Sox!

I'm a Boston fan, but I don't think that the "Detroit's bankrupt" chants were appropriate either, although I did not hear any on the TV.

Barring any major collapse, looks like the Red Sox got game 1 of the World Series, leading 5-0 in the 7th, and Lester pitching a pretty good game for the Sox.

In other news, sad to see the Tigers Manager Jim Leyland go. Hopefully, they can get another proven winner to replace him.

Edit:

David Ortiz strikes again! XD
