I have the Iphone5 but I am thinking of moving over to the Sony Xperia Z1. The 5S looks like it will be outmaneuvered in terms of screen, camera and specs by many of the new android phones. IOS7 was a diasppointment, everything turned so "childish" and flashy. I am not very familliar with android, but I am sure it cant be all bad. Another reason for me to change to Z1 is becasue its dust and waterproof

Samsung Rugby is mine. That thing is indestructible. I could probably drop that thing into the ocean from 1200 ft and it would still work.

If you're looking for variety and quality of games, then iOS. It has a larger selection of games and apps, many of which never get ported to Android OS.
However, I'd say that in every other respect, Android wins out. It's way more customizable, it's hackable even if you know absolutely nothing about tech-related stuff, and it's just more fun to play around with.
Personally, I don't play games on my phone. I have a 3DS and a Vita, and I cannot think of a single way in which mobile games offer anywhere close to depth of gameplay that those system provide, albeit at a higher price point.

I'm using android because I disliked iphone.
But now I'm not so sure. Iphones performance is better and faster as far as I know. I'm actually thinking to switch to iphone but I find the style to be boring ; u; I care too much about appearance
Also I'm not used holding an iphone anymore. I always manage.to drop it. Guess I'm too used to my fat phone.

That could never have been done with an iphone. Whenever my iphone falls from 1m and more, Its always scary to turn it around and check the screen

That's yet another reason I will never get an iPhone. There's too many smartphones out there that are much better and 1/2 the price.

I would go with iPhone 5S only, not the 5C. I love Android and have a couple Android tablets to mess around with, but the apps just run more smoothly on my iPhone. Even my iPad 2 runs better than my Nexus 7. I've tried the Samsung GS4, GS3, Note 2, Note 3, HTC One, Nexus 4, iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5S. Just look at the the Crunchyroll app as example, I've never had issues with my iPhone or iPad but had issues with my Android devices. Android is fun to root and to customize, but when it comes to reliability I will choose iPhone based on my own experience. If you do get Android, stick with Nexus tablets and phones, don't get the cheap Samsung stuff. Their take on Android has way too much clutter programs. Don't get HTC products they are poorly made and have a very poor track record. Plus with the Nexus you get the latest Android updates. With GS4 you are waiting forever to get the latest Android. There is the Nexus 5 coming out soon I would look at that if you have to get Android, but I still definitely recommend iPhone 5S.

I also noticed that Androids are much more durable than iPhones, especially the iPhones created before the iPhone 5.

As a Android master one must perfect the droid to know all of it's potential.
1. Soo many free or cheap apps

2. Open source(more "things" you can do with droid) and unrestricted use unlike Apple.

3. Free tethering to your laptop, desktop or Tablet's using only a app (which literally saves me about $320 a month in data)

4. Many types of Android phones(not just one or two models) this means Motorola, Samsung, LG and more...soo many choices and the OS is just awesome.

THE END

Androids are better. If the battery pack breaks of something you can take it out and replace it. Whereas with the apple products, you have to buy a new one!

I'm an android person when it comes to phones. I had the Atrix 4G (first phone with the fingerprint scanner!!) and when I was upgrading I was stuck between the iPhone 5 and GS4. My friend who had the i5 tried to get me to switch to Apple, but all his reasons were something that Android already had! I ended up picking the GS4 mostly for the camera and because I was quite the ROM junkie in the past. I didn't want to wait for the next Nexus. Honestly, I actually really like the GS4 (hate AT&T though). I've stuck with the same ROM/developer because of the pure awesomeness. I still look forward to seeing how good the Nexus 5/Nexus 4 2013 will be.

I like iPads and iPods though! If I had the money for it I'd consider buying a MacBook, but that would be after I build a PC.

I've had SO many problems with my iPod, it's unbelievable. I love it and all, but aaaaargh. iTunes sucks. Thankfully I have a Samsung Galaxy phone.

Android. I tend to lean away from over-hyped things such as the iPhone, iPod, etc. Also because I could never afford one.

I can understand this, but sometimes over-hyped things are worth it. I have a Macbook Pro and its the best computer I ever had (terrible for gaming though, lol) and its a very hyped product.

Well, I don't doubt that. But Apple also rarely has big sales and the prices are pretty high.

I agree with the prices problem, but sometimes paying a lot for something is worth it because it lasts a long time, instead of buying a cheap computer that breaks faster so you have to buy another cheap computer again and again.

I agree with you sometimes paying more is worth it.
However if you would buy a pc for the price you pay for a Macbook you would be able to get top components and a system that would be able to play games with ease as well.

I get me a new Pc every 2-3 years and have yet to have any part of it break down in that time frame (the older machine gets adopted as Besroom PC so it has a livespan from around 5years)

Anyways back on Topic i am more of an Android user (i do prefer Win8 phones/tablest tho)
