Yeah, buying the DvD's makes watching a show easier.

I'm actually struggling to get through my unwatched DVDs, especially when trying to get through multiple shows at once where swapping out discs lose your place. I find it's much easier to fire up my 360, launch the CR or Hulu apps and choose a show from my queue.

Yeaaah, I've still got 4 disks of Scrapped Princess to watch myself, I'm lucky I even got through the DVD watching of Fate/stay Night, and Mysterious Girlfriend X is 1 episode into the english dub, which is great but....I have to finish it to compare them properly!

I've got 10 anime in my queue right now.

My strategy is to focus on one anime (or, if there are multiple seasons, just one season) and finish it before moving on to another.
The exception is for currently airing shows that I'm following, like LB Refrain and Kuroko.

It can be dainting when you have a big TO-WATCH list, but just remember: it's a hobby; the Internet isn't going anywhere... I think.

Now, if anime is your life, I don't know what to tell you.

watching anime shouldn't be a chore. I get the impression that a lot of people make it one. sort of like a "I have to finish this list I made" kind of thing. just watch whatever you like whenever you want to chill out and watch some anime, you know? 8P

I suppose it's a problem, but overall it's not a bad problem to have. Sticking only to legal streams, in the past, I might have watched something marginal simply because it was new and available and wasn't completely intolerable. Nowadays, I have to be selective and drop shows quickly (and maybe prematurely, but oh well..) just to keep it from getting out of hand, and there's probably a wealth of older shows worth a peek that I may well never ever get to. I'm also accumulating a few unwatched DVDs as well as I just don't have the time to watch them!

I have so much time even with college haha, I don't sleep much though so that probably helps, I enjoy anime too much to not watch a new series haha. Also with completed that I haven't seen series I try to watch a 1 or 2 a day of them.
Also I sometimes watch some series a second or third time haha maybe I have too much time

I have a slow job where 30-33 hours a week I get to watch anime. I started OP on hulu and it's pretty amazing so far. I enjoy having a new episode of the current seasons to watch almost every night. I just wish StrikeTheBlood came out on Monday or Tuesday. Every season of anime on CR is like a new adventure, though. It's quite entertaining, I find watching anime far more healthy than video games. So I am glad to have Anime as an outlet. Cheers!

That's 50 episodes a day, which is about 20-22 hours.
It's humanly impossible.

I know what you mean! I am already backlogged for a couple of shows that I want to follow, but haven't had time to catch the 2nd or 3rd episode of. In addition, I am working on a novel that I just started getting feedback from my early readers on AND some buddies of mine and I are starting on on-line gaming group, so I spent a good deal of the weekend creating my character and the back-story for it instead of watching shows that I missed last week! (But I managed to re-watch Galilei Donna for some reason... And I watched some Madoka with my daughter, because her mind isn't warped enough yet... MWAHAHAHAHA!) Wait... did I type that out-loud?
