Hi

I'm new and I've noticed there are a huge amount of groups, and a great majority of them have less than 10 members, and were active only at the time around their creation.

When I don't want to make my own group and look for ones to join, I found it hard to browse because they are shown by the recently updated, and there are too many pages to browse.

Maybe people won't so quickly resort to making their own group (and later leave it defunct) if there's a more convenient system for browsing groups to find ones that fit their tastes better? So my suggestion is : How about making category tags and word search engine for groups?

Thanks

These are really great suggestions. In fact, we are currently in the process of clearing out inactive groups--so there will be fewer to browse through.

Also, even though the search field is currently missing from the Groups page, you can search on groups by going here:

www.crunchyroll.com/search

Select "Groups" from the left sidebar, then enter your search criteria. That might help a little.

Also, if you do click into a group that has tags and click on one of the tags, that should pull up other groups that have that tag.

Oh wow, thanks again Lorreen!

I had no idea there's a group category on the regular search engine! And also the tags!

Hmm, some more thoughts :

Maybe there won't be so many defunct groups if we all get notifications when there's new activity in our groups?

Also, I don't know if this already exists or not, but an option to delete group by the creator?
