...to start, what would you recommend? Obviously "free manga" online is probably taboo to talk about here, but I've scoured some decent sites and really they're usually fairly terrible. Disorganized, looked bad, bad translations or scans, etc.

So I figure, why not go physical?

My tastes in anime:
Neon Genesis
Inuyasha
Code Geass
Gundam

Along those lines, what would you recommend and I'll see if its available at my local bookstore to start reading.

You might like Fullmetal Alchemist and Death Note. They're also pretty common in bookstores in America. Just assuming America, sorry if I'm wrong.

Also, I know Barnes and Noble has some manga online that you can purchase digital copies of + read with their Nook for Pc app thingy (Which is free). They sell physical copies as well, though I'd suggest looking at Rightstuf and Amazon if you end up wanting to order physical copies online.

Hi there. I've closed this because it's a personal thread, but we do have an existing thread especially for requesting recommendations. Just copy your post from here, and paste it into a new post there. Here's the link:

/forumtopic-809927/recommend-me-a-manga-read-first-post (and if you want recommendations in the future, just look for that thread near the top of the Manga Forum--it's one of the "sticky" threads there.)
