You can completely annihilate any one cliche. Which one do you choose?

The title pretty much explains it. You can make any one cliche. Every anime made from this point on will not feature it.

Only one rule: No general answers (i.e. 'fan-service', 'bad story lines'). It needs to be a single thing like dopey, cowardly protagonists that 'develop' into Gary Sues.

How can you not love the "absolute control" character? Hell, the point in Guilty Crown where I liked Shu the most was when he turned into a tyrant.

And there`s one more

Story complications can be resolved by just "talking". For example, a character says something enlightening (a.k.a cheesy speech) and then the rival character will accept it... and all issues/problems are solved immediately.

It isn't realistic. And it's used so many times over and over.

I swear to god, Japan's atmosphere must be made out helium, what with how high pitch the girls can scream.

How about when, in most shounen, two character will be in a fight, one of them will pull out an ace in the hole, and then spend the next 5 minutes giving a lecture about what his secret is, how he came up with it, exactly what it does and how, and hands the other character a fucking blueprint for how to beat him, and then is shocked when he gets his shit kicked in?

I hate that too.

I don't know why the anime writers think doing that is in any way, interesting or engaging. It's just stupid.

Sorry folks, although this one is framed more creatively, it really boils down to the same thing as:

Please contribute there.

Also you might be interested in this related thread, that includes the question of which do you like.
