It'd be nice if they added Hajime no Ippo to the manga selection. Particularly as they started streaming the new animated series.

The place to request specific titles is in the CR Premium Members group. Join (if you haven't already) then go to the What series...would you like to see on CR thread in the group forum (it's one of the sticky threads near the top).

I think they should add the Manga to the current Anime subscriptions because it does fall under the category. I wouldn't mind if they raised the membership a buck or two if they did this. I just don't want to pay for the Drama for which I don't watch.

Raising the membership "a buck or two" would be equally unfair to those who want CR only for anime and have little interest in reading manga online.

I recall the manga membership (alone) being mentioned at a rate of $4.95 per month (although I don't see that as an available option yet), so it is less like you are paying for a drama membership you don't want than getting it for only 5 cents extra.

Yeah, there's a link to the Manga Plans in the opening post of the Site News Manga Service Announcement thread (it would be good if there was a better way to navigate to the Manga Plans like thru the Compare Plans link at the bottom of a CR web page, rather than thru a link from a member's post @_@ ~ unless there is a way and I just don't know it yet): http://www.crunchyroll.com/premium_pick_plan?membership=manga ~ still $4.95 per month! XD

Just a heads up in case u weren't aware, but BasouKazuma made it so that u don't need to "join" the CR Premium Members group to enter or post within the subforum. The change was made, I think, a few months ago or so to make things easier for people.

No I meant raising it a buck or two if they were to make a separate plan for Anime + Manga.

Why is there still no manga only link?

Necro-Bump

It is absolutely ridiculous that a year later there is still no way* to get to the manga only subscription page. All there is to indicate the manga plan exists is some tiny blue text hidden in the description of the all-access plan. However that link, just leads you to the all-access plan free trial page. CR webmaster should be ashamed. It would take all of 20 seconds to change that hyperlink so it leads to the the manga only subscription page they have already created.

*:Other than the link Ancient one found, which does not appear anywhere else on CR. I got very luck finding this thread via Google, and luckier still, noticing Ancient Ones post on the second page.

When opening the Compare Plans link in an incognito window (it doesn't show up while I'm signed in), the free trial does appear to be for the Manga-only membership, with a monthly cost of $4.95.

Yes, it could be better presented, and so could a lot of other parts of the site. My guess is the development team has been spending a lot of time on Flash player or app updates, so the website itself may have taken a back seat, particularly for a subscription plan that I imagine isn't as popular as the other two.

Until the plan comparison page is improved, I'd suggest bookmarking TAO's link so you have it handy if you need it in the future.

You can say that again. The only portion of the page that has anything to do with the manga-only subscription is the $4.95 price. However you would have had to discover this thread (or the the hidden page) to recognize $4.95 as anything other than a typo. Aside from the URL itself, and the price, the page is identical to regular trial page. On my visits prior to finding this thread I could not distinguish it from the "normal" page.

This is sloppy( I should know, I moonlight building shitty websites). I know their staff is busy fixing all of the other portions of the site, but spending 20 seconds to fix the link to revenue stream should be very high on their priority list. Yet it remains unfixed. You would think that someone in accounting would have noticed the complete lack of manga-only subscriptions.

They already have a perfectly good page built for the manga-only subscription. Literally all they need to do is copy/paste this URL over the other URL

FYI: I am not complaining for me, I already have the link. I am complaining on behalf of the all the other customers who have given up finding the proper site and CR for losing all of their custom. I have contacted CR a while ago, but I have not heard back. Hence ranting here. I was a loyal paying member for 3 years, but this kind of issue drove me to away. I came back to see if I could get a cheap manga subscription for black Friday, but no cigar.
