Well, since we have it on CM, I guess we should have a topic for A Town Where You Live (Kimi no Iru Machi).

This is one of my all time favorite manga. I hope they get the complete back-catalog up soon, since I really want to re-read it with a professional translation.

The most recent chapters are showing some potential for conflict, but I really hope he doesn't try to manufacture a rift between Haruto and ... Well, I won't say who in case there are new readers in the thread...

I agree with you this has got to be one of my favorite manga out right now. I really hope that no such rift forms between them but who knows what might happen.

I want to start reading this but the one thing I hate more than anything else is time skips and I heard that the time skip in this one is particularly devastating because it happens right when things get interesting. Is there any truth to that?

How is this series for a newbie? I think I watched some of the Anime series, though I doubt I finished it... i'm looking for some more stuff to read and saw this, but I just haven't gotten around to actually reading it.

This is a good read, but start at the beginning, not with what CR manga has up now. You may want to wait a while and see if they get the back catalog up.

As for the time skips, I wouldn't say that it ever skips when things are "getting good". It skips either when things are at a status quo. There are a few time skips in the story, six months here, a year and a half there, but they are not detrimental to the story.

I am not at all sure that they plan on putting up the earlier volumes. They have just added some backstory for the characters under "more info." I hope they get around to it eventually, but the manga section hasn't gotten too much love since it started.

When they advertised the product, they said they would have the entire back catalog for these manga. I realize they have already reneged on this with things like AOT, but there is NO reason for A Town Where You Live to NOT be complete. There is no English language publication stopping it! (Same goes for Mysterious Girlfriend X and Yamada-Kun and the Seven Witches - I know there are more, but those are the three that I am reading that are incomplete... )

Those are the only 3 that I am reading and I find it really frustrating that they don't have the whole series up for any of them. I just can't justify paying for an incomplete service. Add to this the problems with Yamada this week and the lack of any kind of free trial for my iPad and I've been really disappointed so far. I want to support the artist and publishers, but I just can't pay for this half-hearted effort. The lack of communication is troubling as well.

The Yamada glitch was trolltastic. I was so pissed I considered cancelling my anime membership.

Hm, latest chapter was interesting. It seems like they may actually try to have a kid? I hope so.

It kind of made me wonder if there was some reason that Yuzuki wanted to see him this weekend other than just because she missed him. Like maybe she has something important to tell him? (I doubt it, but with Seo, you never know.) The way it was presented was massively effective.

I really hope he handles this soon and wraps up the story. It would be fun if he would do his next series with Daiki entering high school, with Seiga-kun as his sempai and maybe Akari's daughter as a love interest coming to Tokyo? LOL We haven't heard anything about her having a kid yet, but Seo could easily make that happen, bringing all of the A Town Where You Live regulars in as guest appearances, but having the main story be about their kids... They could even include Suzuka's daughter as a student teacher at their school or something. LOL!

Of course, it would be set in the future then, so that makes it SF... LOL Oh well, total speculation!
