On MAL no one has posted a thread for it yet so I don't think anyone has ripped it off yet. Only 15 people have voted on it, such a small number means they probably bought it. Usually even if its just a raw someone will post that they saw it. OVAs are slower, some never come out as someone has to buy it, not just record it off their TV.

This manga desperately needs a "nice boat" ending.

A part of me...a significant part of me...agrees to some extent. I wanted him to at least suffer and realize "Oh crap, I'm an idiot." instead of "Let me do this right here and then everything falls into place later."

Unfortunately life isn't that great. Does it happen? You bet. For everyone? Heck no. Most of the time when people are at a cross roads of choosing between a job or career and family, they choose the former and either divulge themselves in that to such an extent that the latter is but a memory. I do commend the author and this manga on illustrating the obstacles and "hardships" of love and relationships. Then again, people deliberately make things difficult for themselves.

As much as I would like Yuzuki to have moved on and be happy with someone who won't turn their life into a traveling circus, I think she stayed faithful to him.

Why?

The beer. Isn't that sweet to name a beer after the girl you loved and lost and then moved away and then loved again and then you moved away and then lost again.

I really hope she waited for him. I don't know. If she didn't I'll be so pissed, would have been a waste to even have this manga go for so long if it ended like that.

For the record, I don't think the end will feel rushed at all, since he has been building to it for the past 50 chapters. All that needs to happen is for them to realize that the need to get married because that is how they will be able to spend their lives together. Here is my two scenarios for how it will play out:
Scenario 1:

Scenario 2:

So it looks like Scenario 1 without them coming to their senses prior to his being transferred to Tokyo...

Au contraire, if she has a boyfriend and he has to get her to leave him and go out with him again would fit this manga perfectly since it has happened a couple times already.

With only 3 chapters left, I would say it's too soon to pull a "I'm with another guy, sorry your loss" type of situation.

I would have ended it like this....

Haruto indulges in work. Comes out with the beer. Still getting teased and seduced by Adachi and co-worker. Asuka in the picture, they talk and stuff and become close. She still has lingering feelings for him. Almost get back together but he says her name unconsciously when they go on a date and are about to kiss. She cries and says he still loves Yuzuki after all this time and she can't take her place. Awkward for a little while but Asuka doesn't let it bother her to ruin their friendship, she says with that last night she's completely over him and can move on.

He goes back home to meet with friends during the winter. Akari says Yuzuki still thinks about him. He ponders on that for a while. It's summer and about a year since he started. Beer becomes a hit. Haruto and co are happy and celebrate. Adachi points out why Haruto is still depressed despite pitching a success, even though she's taking the credit. He says he can't get over leaving Yuzuki. Some advice and antics and Haruto heads for a train back to Tokyo to visit her. He gets to Tokyo, goes to her place and finds Rin. RIn says Yuzuki packed up and left and RIn is living by herself. RIn calls him stupid and berates him but is comforting. Haruto leaves, goes back home only to find Yuzuki waiting outside with all her stuff. Reference Chapter 212 ("Next time I'll follow you"). Crying. Love. Etc...happiness.

Yuzuki becomes a teacher there while Haruto continues working on that beer. Adachi gets transferred, also hinting that she got back together with her ex. Teases Haruto that he missed his chance. Haruto gets back home late where Yuzuki is waiting for him with a smile. They kiss. END.

Epilogue.

They all assemble for the wedding. Takashi goes all Lieutenant Hughes showing off not just his son but new daughter as well. Kiyomi smacks him. Akari has a child as well. Miyu is married and happy. Shiori is still successful. Nanami is engaged to that guy. Asuka seems happy. Rin teases Haruto (that classmate who has a crush on her is her date, implied they're going out). Chisa is angry Haruto is getting married. Shiho commends Haruto about his beer despite it not selling well at her restaurant (he complains she's a bad salesperson). Adachi is with her husband in audience. Amorous co-worker chick is there hitting on Haruto's subordinate. The cute job-reporter girl is also in attendance and seems happy as well.

They get married. Everyone happy.

I honestly only read like the last few chapters of this manga because it was on the front page of a site I go to read the latest TWGOK and Nisekoi. It's a bit too soap-operaish for my taste. However, I think you can probably expect a happy ending. If the manga has a lot of fans, then the author will literally be afraid to anger the fans. I've heard tales of people sending really nasty stuff and death threats to some authors' addresses.

Same here. Maybe Half & Half will go weekly now, or something. Or Princess Lucia?
Not sure what to think about this manga.

They should do like, a 30 year time skip for the last chapter to play things off.

I'm hoping for Half & Half. Princess Lucia is also possible though.
