Lol, I lost all faith in this manga awhile ago. Inb4 rushed ending at the finish.

Same here. Maybe Half & Half will go weekly now, or something. Or Princess Lucia?
Not sure what to think about this manga.

They should do like, a 30 year time skip for the last chapter to play things off.

I'm hoping for Half & Half. Princess Lucia is also possible though.

Princess Lucia would be interesting, considering the main character is like 14. I'd want that, haha!

With only 3 chapters left, I would say it's too soon to pull a "I'm with another guy, sorry your loss" type of situation.

Except there are only two chapters left...

If he doesn't call Yuzuki before he moves back to Tokyo, he is an idiot! Wait, he broke up with her in the first place, so he is an idiot!

I just want it to be over with at this point! I hope the pace picks up on both Princess Lucia and Half & Half. For Yuzuki fans, there are not one, but TWO characters in Princess Lucia that look like her: the eponymous princess and Rie-sempai, one of the angels assigned to watch over Yuta and make sure no demons get their hands on him. (Well, actually, other body parts... but anyway...) Both of them are kind of variations on a theme of Yuzuki's basic character design.

Great...only two chapters left.

We may just end up with an ending similar to the movie "The Breakup" where the girl and guy move on and then when they get their lives in order, pass each other on the side walk, exchange smiles and some small talk ("Oh, you look good." "So do you.") then walk away with each one stealing glances back at the other when they aren't looking. Basically, that ending is a cop out showing both protagonists going on with their lives and alluding to the possibility of them getting back together but not explicitly saying so.

I would if that happened. Given the shortness, it just might...please don't.

What I wouldn't mind is seeing that happening, then having them walk away from each other for a page of panels, then turn in unison and run to embrace each other.

Either that or have Haruto see her in a coffee shop and move in on her like a playboy to pick her up without her seeing him coming. That would be cute. Especially if Rin saw him and distracted her. (Though Rin is more likely to lay into him and tell him what a total fool he is.)

One disturbing thought that I had is this:

Of course, if that happened I would be totally and completely pissed as hell, but I wouldn't put it past Seo to do it.

I really want Haruto to be unhappy. It's what he deserves. This last break-up and time skip was too much for me. Everyone is better off without him. Having him go back to Tokyo and get back together with Yuzuki will be the most ridiculous cop out, and as much as I like happy endings, I don't want to see that. I'd like Yuzuki to have a kid and a husband. Rin, Asuka, and everybody else should have someone and be happy, but not Haruto. He's thrown it all way too many times.

So, what does everybody think this "Miracle" that is going to happen in the 2/12 issue is? (Other than the manga ending, that is...) Do you think Seo's gonna kill off Yuzuki in the next chapter then bring her back to life and turn the whole thing into a supernatural manga in the last two chapters? LOL! Maybe they're kid will be the main character in Princess Lucia? LOL

That would be crazy if their kid was the MC from Princess Lucia. My mind would be blown.

Yeah... Sadly, we've seen Yuta's mom and she is certainly NOT Yuzuki... LOL! But it would be too funny!

Really, the whole miracle comment has me curious. It did what it was designed to do: made me want to read the next two chapters more than I did before. Nice advertising job!

Thinking about the "miracle" statement, here is my revised prediction for the ending:

I wouldn't really mind that...

That is almost certainly better than what we will get.

Perhaps I should have mentioned that...

Regardless, we will know in less than two weeks, won't we!

Speaking of which, Seo's next manga has been announced. It is:

Fūka

The protagonist Yū Haruna moves into a town and meets a strange girl named Fūka (whose name has kanji characters for "wind" and "summer"). This girl who is like a summer wind possesses a mysterious power to attract people.

It is being launched in the February 12 issue of the magazine, the same issue that has the end of KnIM. Additional details from the ANN article:

A town where you live is ending with an expanded 35-page chapter with a color opening page, while Fūka is starting with a 44-page chapter with a color opening page. In addition, the cover of the magazine issue will have a collaborative illustration of both Fūka and A town where you live. Moreover, the magazine is promising an "unprecedented super-big present" for readers.

I assume that the eponymous heroine of the new manga is actually Suzuka's daughter, who made yet another cameo appearance in the chapter after Haruto
on the train. I was hoping he would use her in his next manga!

We'll have to wait to see what the super-big present is, and how much of a "supernatural" element Fūka's "mysterious power to attract people" is.

I hope Crunchyroll picks this up from the start!

Oh, and another comment... When they get back together, which we know they will...

Anybody want to take bets on it?

Yuzuki walks in on Rin & Haruto "reproducing". Rin gives a maniacal laugh

You just made my day, Rin is awesome.

__________

Haruto doesn't deserve any of them and it's been what? 2 years since they broke up and Haruto is now into his Senpai at work. Let them figure something out and let our main heroins look back in a time jump just saying "Haruto really was a moron, how could we ever have loved him?" as they stand over his grave.
