It's a good idea but I have problems with the interface (particularly for Fairytale and Attack on Titan) I couldn't find a clear layout for some titles and found the way the chapters set out to be tedious as I had to scroll along in some cases.
But what really concerns me is the fact this new service is asking us to pay for the 8.99 just to read them. I think being asked to pay All-access membership to read the manga's is unfair considering when I can still watch Drama on CR for free and don't need to upgrade my account.
I'm concerned as Crunchyroll has always offered a choice for it users to pay if they wished, this has been ever since I joined the site (2006) and now with the manga it's more ''you pay or don't read''. Can their be a way to read the Manga's without spending for a membership plan we may not want?
This is not a attack on the site or separate persons, but wanting to clear up this confusion.

PLEASE upload eyeshield 21's manga

Licensed by Viz and owned by Shueisha, so basically impossible.

(seriously, screw that company).

You can read it even if you don't pay, you know. But with ads, like with the animes.

When I tired to read Fairytale I was told to pay for All-Access
When I tried to read Attack on Titan I was told to pay for All-Access
When I tired to read Seven Deadly Sins I was told to pay All-Access
When I tired to read Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches I was told to pay All-Access
When it came to Space Brothers I could actually read that one!
So 4/5 times I tried to read something and got denied as the result, so that's incorrect what you said about free to read with ad's, if that what's intended I'm willing to accept it as a glitch if it can be fixed.

Having taken a look at a few of the openly available chapters (since my membership is currently Anime, not All-Access), my impressions:

* Image and translation quality is professional grade. I didn't actually expect anything less, but it's worth noting.

* Zoom function in the web-based manga reader is kind of fiddly and hard to use. Since there don't seem to be zoom controls in the reader interface, I've had to use my mouse, which half the time starts skipping me back and forward through the chapter instead of zooming in on the detailed graphic or small text I wanted to see closer.

* Queuing and update notification appear to be non-existent. This is really a shame, because I was expecting a feature something like you already provide for the anime portion of the site.

* I don't understand why Anime, Manga, and News are all in completely different mobile apps. This isn't going to stop me from upgrading my membership if the other two issues are addressed, but I wanted to mention it.

What I found to be helpful is to use the full screen mode on your browser (F11 for Firefox), then Zoom In and Out using "Control +" or "Control -", respectively. Doing this, I was able to achieve something close to the ideal full page/fit to screen or whatever. It also maintains the same zoom level when u go to another page. Here's an example of what I was able to get:

Notice it fits the entire page in, but doesn't quite fit the width of the screen, but it's pretty close, though. For some other mangas, I noticed this technique works even better as it's more filled out width-wise, while still having the entire page viewable, so all u have to do is click on the next page and not worry about doing any scrolling.

But what really concerns me is the fact this new service is asking us to pay for the 8.99 just to read them. I don't think it's unfair as u get access to the backlog of titles. Buying a physical copy of one of those volumes alone could cost u the same for a 1 month manga membership.
Also, those w/out a manga or All-Access accounts have access to the latest chapter of a series. Anything more than the latest chapter, and you'll need a manga/All-Access account.

This makes me really happy. I've been waiting for an alternative to scanlations and this might be it. I just ask that you add some Shojo titles.

Currently, it seems to be only English. But I certainly do hope that they implement being able to go back and forth between English and Japanese sometime. That would be awesome for sure! XD

And Just Fyi, I just happen to like blue...so don't read to much in the reason that I highlight my words...it is just that simple.

It's the little things please me...(lol)

Are you brothers?

For know it looks like i don't have to worry about getting all membership or not. I will see a nice white page with nothingness either way :D
It's not exactly true since i have access to "Artist Alley" but i don't feel ready for that. Could you make some indicator of reading order?

BTW I love that Crunchy add "Watch true HD on big screen" that is showed in low SD format. Please make it in HD ;P
