Would it be possible for you to add Princess Jellyfish, Chihayafuru, Nodame Cantabile, and Moyashimon? Please and thank you!

Awesome concept! Unfortunately I'm not really interested in reading any of the titles available right now... Also, you need to partner yourself with Shueisha, CR, and make WEEKY SHOUNEN JUMP chapters available! I'm pissed at ViZ Media because they NEVER seem to license the series that I want to read like Sket Dance, Beelzebub, or GinTama (I know they were releasing this manga, but I believe the English release was cancelled) to name a few. But, yeah, this definitely has potential... Lets just see how things go, I suppose.

Wow very cool! Would just add a feature to zoom in on text on the computer and a way to save them to a queue of some sort.

Finally, what J-Manga or whatever they were called should have been. I'm sure I'll check it out later on. I have a lot on my plate right now, but I am quite interested in this new service. I can't wait to see what other titles you're able to get!

As a free member, what is the point of adding the latest chapter for free if I can't catch up on the previous chapters?

The iPad app only has 10 titles listed. A Town Where You Live and As The Gods Will are both missing.

U could sign up for a manga subscription for a month, and then catch up on any titles that you're interested in, and then cancel once you're done, and then, even as a free member, u can just keep up with the weekly/monthly simulpubs.

I actually might do something like that.

So far, I don't have much problems with it besides the interface which I'm not used to. Also, some of the font seems a bit small to me and I accidentally scroll across some pages more than I should be when I use my mouse.

Other than that, not too much problems yet for me. I'll keep an eye on this although I'll wait to see what else CR has to add later before considering the manga membership. Oh and regarding the suggestion for giving notification of release dates is a good idea.

I like this a lot. It would be nice if the first volume was available that was free to view. While it's great that I can have the latest chapters free to view, I don't want to read the latest chapters and be spoiled if I'm looking for something new to read, and I'm on the fence of buying a manga membership. Right now I'd have to buy the membership just to see if there's anything I'd be interested in reading, because I won't start with the latest chapters. I'm not willing to do that, so it's likely I won't buy this membership. If I could read the first volume and become interested in that story, I would most likely buy a membership. I bought an anime membership because I decided I liked the shows enough to warrant paying for the membership. This comment is more about those titles that do have volume 1 available and I can't read it without paying, and not about those titles that don't go that far back on CR's service.

When I tired to read Fairytale I was told to pay for All-Access

When I tired to read Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches I was told to pay All-Access
When it came to Space Brothers I could actually read that one!
So 4/5 times I tried to read something and got denied as the result, so that's incorrect what you said about free to read with ad's, if that what's intended I'm willing to accept it as a glitch if it can be fixed.

PLEASE upload eyeshield 21's manga

Licensed by Viz and owned by Shueisha, so basically impossible.

(seriously, screw that company).

It's a good idea but I have problems with the interface (particularly for Fairytale and Attack on Titan) I couldn't find a clear layout for some titles and found the way the chapters set out to be tedious as I had to scroll along in some cases.
But what really concerns me is the fact this new service is asking us to pay for the 8.99 just to read them. I think being asked to pay All-access membership to read the manga's is unfair considering when I can still watch Drama on CR for free and don't need to upgrade my account.
I'm concerned as Crunchyroll has always offered a choice for it users to pay if they wished, this has been ever since I joined the site (2006) and now with the manga it's more ''you pay or don't read''. Can their be a way to read the Manga's without spending for a membership plan we may not want?
This is not a attack on the site or separate persons, but wanting to clear up this confusion.

You can read it even if you don't pay, you know. But with ads, like with the animes.

I think this may be a bug, I am a full access member and I also was sent to the page, what I ended up having to do was click on where it says Simulpub for the manga and scroll through to find the right chapter I was on, not clicking on the chapters directly

I had the same issue but when I reread the announcement post I saw that the word "latest" was underlined. So I clicked on the most recent chapter and well... it worked. It seems that you can read the latest chapter for free but if you want to read older chapters you have to upgrade. Kinda like how Hulu works. They need to clarify this better if that is indeed how it is supposed to be. I wish there was an Anime+Manga membership option. I rather not have to pay for the dramas when I'll never watch them.

Did anyone else think the image linking to this on the main page looks like cyclops with a mean grin?
