Sometimes its hard for others to realize how hard the pain is of replacement, unless its actually happening to you. There are many kinds of replacement, and when it happens to be you it hurts.

- When you don't have a mother anymore, and you feel like when your dad gets a new "mother" that he forgets the one you already had

- You are doing so well in your job, but you get replaced, just because there is someone who is doing better than you.

- People always say, "there are plenty of other fish in the sea" but isn't this fish the perfect fish for me? You can't replace love that easily

- When you lose a friend, they say, "you have plenty of other friends" or that "you will find a new friend" well i dont care about other friends, that friend was special to me, and no one can replace them.

It can hurt quite a bit, and its stupid when people think they can be replaced so easily. But sometimes, its not actually replacing, but moving on. Your friends can't be replaced, you can't be replaced, and bla bla bla. What I mean i guess is that maybe there are better things to do ya know

yeah just get over it and throw yourself back out there. depression is for weaklings.

you're emotionally and mentally challenged. you only suffer b/c you don't understand the value of things. you don't understand that nothing is ever a replacement for something else. this is your own fault b/c of your warped ideology.

i know you are kinda sentimental
yeah..special persons in our life can't be as easily replaced as losing a favorite toy and forgetting it as it is.
there's something in those people's personalities that you'll be terribly missing but change is inevitable in this world.

picture this....

the leaves of trees just keep falling....

lesson?
you cant always keep someone to yourself forever.
sometimes, you hav to let him go.
yet, you have to remain standing...like trees do

if your dad gets a new mum and forgets about your old mum that doesnt mean you have to replace her

maybe love cant be replaced that easily but if that person didnt like you its clear that they were not right for you.

friends always come and go replacement is something you have to get used to

You can always replace a friend or w/e to fill the void or the time you spend on making newer memories. But it's impossible to completely replace someone in every aspect. If you have a new friend, they're not going to be having the same effect on you since they are different whether they are a worse or better friend. Nothing is completely replaceable since everything has it's own unique effects on you. That's what makes every singe thing valuable and priceless in it's own way. If people can be completely replaced, murder would be trivial.

Anyway, my parents replaced me with my younger sister as the one to fulfill their dreams of having a doctor in the family. I was a bit sad but relieved.
