Any chance of being able to read the manga in Japanese
|
Any chance of being able to read the mangas in the original Japanese form in the near future, much like how we can turn the subtitles off in the crunchyroll anime?
If i am able to read the manga in Japanese, I would be so willing to upgrade to the all access pass... |

I think it would help out a lot of the Japanese speakers and Japanese students who are currently not residing in Japan, but would love to be able to legally access and pay for Manga. Right now, it's either very overpriced or very inconvenient,

Any updates on this?

I agree. I want to read manga in Japanese too. The only reason I haven't signed up for the manga service is because it's not offered in Japanese yet. I buy manga from Kinokuniya USA because they have the books in Japanese, but I'd rather have a digital service. It's more cost effective and more convenient.

Beginning March 14th, my membership will be changing from Premium Anime membership to a Premium All Access Membership.
I too would like very much to see the Manga offered in Japanese. I have been studying Japanese for over a year now and I'm a slow learner. Also there is no one around locally who speaks Japanese who could possibly help with my studies such as helping with correct pronunciations when learning new words. Plus the lack of reading materials doesn't help either. |

I would also like to be able to read Manga in Japanese. If this were possible I would definitely upgrade my account. I have no interest in reading it in English.

I'll add my vote that I would also love to read manga in Japanese through crunchyroll! It would be extra awesome to be able to switch back and forth between English (or whatever native language) and Japanese while reading, but I'll take it any way crunchyroll would be willing to give it.
I currently have an all-access subscription, but have really only read Orange here. I actually tried to find it in a Japanese store when I visited NYC a month ago because I love it so much, but they didn't have it... I do like reading manga for the story, but the reason I tend to like anime better is that I can still have the exposure to the Japanese while experiencing the story. So digital manga in Japanese would be awesome |

Looking for IRL anime friends in NH :)

Hi, I also would like the option of being able to read manga in Japanese, as it's much more convenient and cost-effective than shipping the manga from abroad.
Are there any updates on this issue? |

Consider this another vote. Oh, and please offer the Japanese closed caption subtitles as a subtitle option when they're available in the original digital stream, please :-D

Manga in Japanese would be amazing! Especially now that Premium members have access to the full manga catalog(BTW - Thank you Crunchyroll for this awesome treat!), I'm going through the catalog wishing they all had an option to switch between the languages. It would be as epic as when "One Piece" anime got added to the catalog! Here's to hoping one day it would come! |

I'd be really happy to read manga in Japanese. I get manga with my premium account and I occasionally read the English translations but not too much. I'm mostly interested in manga/anime in the original Japanese. I'm shocked to see so much interest here. I figured there were maybe 3 of us.
