Who else is using crunchyroll bringing in the backlog of One Piece as a chance to watch from the start or rewatch it?

On episodes 54, about to start the first filler. And I almost feel like waiting till next week.

Only 64-81 was added. Not enough! 27 episodes will only hold me a day or two if I don't stop.

*sigh*

Plus the first filler sucks I was told.

That is a lie; no One Piece Filler "sucks"!

Humorous (but true) proclamations aside, part of why this series has endured so well for so long is that its fillers are frankly as good as the new content of lesser (but still above average) animé. I am sure some fans only enjoy the "real" content, and I know that the filler sometimes creates contradictions because something happened in filler that should have affected some reactions or dialogs or even how something should have been handled in the non-filler stories that come after it.

Non-spoiler Example:
If the Straw Hats have [insert thing] until Story Arc Y, but Filler Story Arc X contains it, then dialog in Story Arc Y might ignore than they had [insert thing] before, treating it as an entirely new experience.

That being said, I do agree that that is one of the "lesser" filler arcs, but I also find a large stretches of the surrounding non-Filler material less pleasing. One Piece is that show I love even when I don't love everything about it. XD

How about the crossovers. Ugh. Now, THAT is painful to watch.

Haven't seen them; good chance the raw fan service that is crossing over will still make them enjoyable, even if they are otherwise painful. I've got a good tolerance for hokey-ness and the like. Granted, what I really want to see if the assorted gluttonous characters (plus connoisseurs and chefs) just do a crossover with Toriko that was purely about cooking (well, maybe a hunting montage for some action). I just wanna see Son Goku, Luffy, etc. reacting to such a place.
