Well obviously CR will be on next-gen, but is it going to be on there on the first day, first week, or first month of launch. Reason is I will be giving my ps3 to my siblings and buying the ps4.
I like watching on my sony 4k 84" (ps3 connected) better than on the computer.
Oh if you want ask, "Why not just connect your computer to the tv?" I have used up all my hdmi slots.
Thanks in adv community

I'm pretty sure they'll make an app for the PS4, it's not like it seems impossible.

Can I ask?

I had enough problems with the PS3 app. I'm happy that I've switched to using an Apple TV for Crunchyroll now. I've found it much more stable and it's a lot quieter than the PS3.

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know that I moved your question over to support, where it has good company.

The PS3 App is in terrible shape so I would suggest they hold off on releasing a PS4 App til the PS3 App is fixed I also have no plans on buying a PS4, basically Sony is being stupid and is going to start being Microsoft for once and start charging for certain features. PS+ is also not worth it.

Oh ok thanks.
What do you mean that it's in bad shape for the ps3? I haven't had any problems with it other than the bland layout, which they should make the same as the iOS version of the app. I don't know anything about Microsoft's Xbox, I have never bought one. Not being cocky or anything but I have quite a bit of money a little too much for a 19 years old, raising a brother and sister.

There are less expensive solutions than going that far.

Once the updated Roku app with HD is released, it would be a good choice. I've seen refurbished Roku 2 XD's for as low as $35, and the low end Roku goes for $50.

At the moment, the least expensive device for getting CR in HD on your TV is the Apple TV (which given the lack of complaints, also apparently works quite well).

The PS3 App has some issues like crashing to the XMB if you watch too many shows in a row or just by browsing through the list too fast and a memory leak that can cause it to crash as well not to mention on rare occasions it can even lock the PS3 forcing you to power it off by the power button or even on rarer cases you might have to unplug the power cord if the power button does not respond and that can cause hdd corruption.

So basically it has these issues and CR has not fixed them yet and I don't know why since you need a premium account to even use the PS3 App so I would think they should be getting enough money to solve these issues and roll out regular patches.
