Yep. cried like a bitch.

Marathon-ed that shit twice and still felt like dying after the second time. Such a great anime though.

but it was a positive ending....everything turned out a-ok.....

or are you one of those people who wishes everyone dies at the end, and you're crying because that didn't happen?

I cry every time. Honestly, reading the title of the final episode when I pull Bluray volume 6 off the shelf is enough to have me crying.

I bought a ticket to Madoka Rebellion in a city 45 minutes away as I hope no one I know sees or hears me bawling like a baby when I see that movie... I will be rewatching my Blurays again before I watch the movie!

I didn't cry tbh and this is after I watched both the series, reviewed both of the first movies (which were technically recap), and watched bits/scenes of some of the more memorable scenes.

no, men do not shed tears, men bleed blood from the eyes in which black flames come out.

or

men are humiliated to the point where blood comes out... damn tsunderes and/or clutzey characters.

I was surprised that it didn't make me cry, only I could see that it was pretty depressing. I think that as you watch more and more sad stuff it takes more to make you feel that sadness again. Clannad, which is one of my favourite animes, didn't make me cry once and that had some pretty upsetting stuff in it.

I think the biggest problem is, there are so many animes that I've seen where the dead person comes back to life some how so I automatically expect that, and by the time the anime is over and I realise it didn't happen I'm past being able to get upset.

Not sure if I cried, but I definitely teared up at some points.

Hopefully going to see the soul-crushing movie in December.

Watched it once. Didn't get what the big fuss was about. Definitely didn't cry.

Though I am open to watching the movies once the 3rd one is available just to give it another shot.

I didn't cry or get teary eyed but I did very much enjoy watching it and was sad when it ended.

But it never caused me to shed a tear.

I duno, phasing yourself out of existence just to save your friends (and a lot you don't know but feel sorry for) is enough to make me swell with tears. The pain and suffering of going through the same month over and over and over and watching your friend die, just to have them do that? Add on top of all that no one even knowing what she did? Her little brother having an imaginary friend that was once her sister? A nostalgic mother saying her once upon a time daughter's name?

Maybe being a parent myself is what sent me over.
