I usually use my Speaker Set (Creative Inspire T3100 2.1 Speaker System)

When I gotta use headphones, I use my Monster NCredible N-Tune headphones, but I don't like em too much since the bass is too soft.

I'm thinking of getting a Pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones when I get the cash, but ain't got it yet.

(I Also got a pair of Skullcandy Skullcrushers, but rarely use them)

I use headphones (Sony MDR-EX37) when I'm out of the house or lounging about. When I'm at my desk or watching something, though, I use my Bose QC 15 headset. The headset has better sound, of course, but I find my headphones adequate. Most other headphones I cannot stand, though.

I generally use less expensive headsets.

Right now I'm using an MEElectronics (?) Airfi Wireless headset (can be wired through use of a special cord) and a Sony MDR-Q68LW clip on headphones. These have fairly good sound quality; they at least meet my standards and preferences.

If you're interested, both of these were...about $80...? Give or take.

Headphones (Audio-Technica ATH-M50s). If I use voice chat on the PC, I use the aforementioned headphones and a condenser microphone (Studio Projects B1) instead of a headset.

I use studio monitors and headphones paired with a sound card

my headphones-- Audio Technica ATH-AD700

studio monitors-- Numark NPM5

sound card -- sound blaster z

I like my setup so far but my headphones lack some bass but the mids, highs, and sound stage is awesome so I will be getting new ones soon to complement them

I use these.

Hey they're on sale again, I think I'll buy another. They never seem to last more than a couple of years but I guess if I'm lucky they'll last forever and I'm just about to pointlessly waste money!

Also this post seems spammy but hey, it is a thread about what headphones we use.

I have quite a few. I'm usually impulse buying them just because, well actually I guess it's because I'm always looking for the best sound/fit which compels me to buy them.

I think the first pair of the more expensive ones were the Sony MDR7506s (I paid around 100 from a local music store). I liked them, but they made my ears hot, the earcups fit pretty snug.

Then Amazon had some Sync by 50 on sale. I truly have no clue why I bought those, I think it was mostly to put the whole celebrity endorsed headphones are crap theory to the test. They were on ear and were uncomfortable after a while. Sound wasn't anything to write home about either. I paid like 99 on Amazon as one of their deal of the days. I think it was around Christmas last year. The plus it that I can use them with my phone so it beats holding the phone to the ear at home.

Then Amazon had the V-Moda Crossfade LPs as a Deal of the Day, and of course the impulse shopper in me said why the hell not. Got them for around 80 bucks, and while they sound good, they aren't the most comfortable over time.

Then, Amazon doing it again, had the Audio Technica ATH-M50s as the deal of the day, and I heard nothing but rave reviews about them so I bought those. Definitely one of the best headphones I've got (but with the stuff above it's no wonder lol), and I use them at home. But I got the straight cable version so it's always a mess with the cord.

And then a couple weeks ago I was looking for something solid to use at work. Got a desk job, and was looking for something that sounded good, but had little to no sound leakage. Went to the local Guitar Center and bought some Pioneer HDJ-1500s for about 200 bucks with the warranty. They've been perfect for work, and rank up there with the Audio Technicas as the best ones I own.

I'll eventually pull the trigger on one of the higher priced sets, probably spend 300+ on some (but not Bose or Beats...... lol Beats), but the Pioneers and Audio Technicas have treated me well enough. I probably won't until I break them.

I assume that's at me.

For straight sound quality, there's really no competition, the 598's are better. Of course, they are open headphones, ie people can hear the lyrics of your music if they're within 5 feet of you, so I can only use them at home in my room. I love them though.

The UE's (TripleFi 10's only really, the other's in the UE line have very good fits for most people) are a REALLY weird fit for a lot of people (Incl. Me), and are hard to adjust to. I'd recommend a pair of customs or something with a a more universal fit (GRO7/Westone 2, 3 or 4/Etymonic HF5). I actually kind of hate the way they fit, and find myself using my TDK's more.

I'm upgrading to a pair of Heir Audio 3.Ai's (299 USD) soon, though it's more like a sidegrade in reality. Different sound signature, better fit for me.
