Please read the entire article and post before replying.

On November 3rd The first ever YouTube awards took place. Of course, many huge artist were nominated.
One category was " Video of the year". Artist such as Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Selina Gomez, etc, were nomines.
There was one artist however, (Or should I say ''Group") in that category that stood out the most. It was none other than the amazingly beautiful and talented K-Pop group "Girls Generation". I am a huge fan, so I was watching the polls nearly every day up until the award show, and they absolutely SMASHED every other artist there was.

Then the show ended, and, well..... take a look at this for yourself.

(This is just some of it.It's was worse if you went to Twitter at the time. And these people weren't the only ones. This article just posted the worst ones.)

Acceptance speech from Girls Generation member Tiffany at award show.

Noticed how nearly nobody even clapped for them or even cheered.
You could say it's because they probably don't know who they are.But regardless they should have showed more respect instead of acting like a bunch of poor sports.Even if GG didn't win, I honestly would have not cared at all. But really, Jealousy is such an ugly thing.

And here is a music video from Girls Generation. (If you are interested.)

I have no words.....other than this.

Isn't this just sad?
I'm so ashamed to even be human.
And as bad or offensive this may sound to most...I take racism rights over gay rights ANY day! If you must know why....open up a History book.

Some of you might think I'm over reacting, but really, how is something like this " Not that bad." or " Something that shouldn't be taken too seriously." This is the future right here. Plain and simple.

*Edit*
I am aware racism happens all around the world, every day, and to many people. Is it bad I wanted to share my thoughts and this happening? After all I am not writing a book here am I?

And please...don't try and start flame wars with me or others. The whole point of this is that hatred needs to stop!

Youtube is a world wide social media tool. Americans aren't the only ones on Youtube so, obviously artists from other countries are eligible for the award as well. They're are actually countries outside the USA (If they didn't know that!)
They won it fair and square and I although I'm not a K-POP fan, they 100% deserved and I'm really happy they beat all those sad excuses for artists. They wouldn't have won it if they didn't have fans or make good music so just expect the fact that it wasn't your artists year to win and move on. Stop being a bad sport about it!
Those who were complaining about Girls Generation winning are ignorant and uncultured. Again, massive well done to them!

Why does the media report on the unpopular views of the uneducated? Seriously, you think America is the only country that suffers from this? No, Racism is an international problem. Oh well, good for the winners. They deserved it!

Meh, just another case of senseless raging at your favorite group's loss by something you had no idea existed (at least Im nearly certain most didn't know). Don't get my "meh" wrong though, I agree this is a very disgraceful collective act, but this kind of thing happens ridiculously often...I suppose humans (heck, I would say life) is wired to pounce on the first apparent weakness or the most obvious trait that acts as a disadvantage to them: in this case, since we all know racism towards Asians is huge (and Northeast Asians get all labeled as Chinese often) these guys preyed on that, knowing that just pointing that out without any additional effort or rationale will get them a bunch of retweets (and since Beliebers, Little Monsters, 1D-ers etc. were all together in this for once, the support was obviously even larger). I also used to feel pretty disgusted when my home basketball team beat the USA team and these guys went "Oh guess spicy tacos with Chile are good sport fuel" or "Crossing the border on foot seems to get you fit"...and they're not even Mexican! Eventually, however, I accepted that it's, to a certain extent, in our nature, even if it should be suppressed and worked against and some people don't and fo full a**hole.

But yeah, you're also right about other countries' overall populations hating Americans. As a foreigner, I can assure you that you get generalized as war-loving, money-grubbing, usually obese white supremacists as much as these guys label all Asians as rice-eating small people with squinted eyes that work 14 hours a day in factories and aren't allowed to use the internet. From my experience that has slowly been diminishing, though...perhaps slowly but surely with all this globalization we'll get to a point in which at least most of the hate has poofed away into the meaningless nothingness that it always has been. I don't think it's impossible

As disgusting as it is I can't say I'm surprised, i just hope the group realizes these few trolls aren't representative of what all Americans are like.

Well, I mention the Black and white thing because its been one of the oldest here; but if we include others it's been whites against pretty much any foreigner, including other whites. The British, Irish, Italians, most other Europeans.

The real sad part is, while the people ranting are ignorant (and I mean REALLY ignorant border line stupid), unfortunately the rest of the world is ignorant about America and are going to think we all feel the way they do. And quite honestly there's a lot of people who are either happy for them or don't care in general.

PS: I put Stupid and Ignorant seperately because they aren't the same :)

America is a place where we glorify celebrities probably more so than other countries. I live in New York City so the concentration of uninundated pseudo creativity is strong in this area of the world. It's often over saturated and well touted about as the place you must take a trip to... This has nothing to do with the subject of your post but I understand why you would attribute the rudeness of some English speaking individuals to american attitudes. We've pretty much forced our people into accepting others without actually changing how they feel about the individuals they have to tolerate.

While I'm someone who would much rather stab my own eardrums then listen to any Teen pop music, the reactions they got are completely unwarranted. While that may be the case I think a lot of what is in those tweets are jokes unintended to hurt anyone as unbelievable as that may be. There are also people who just intend on getting a rise out of people by means of unfiltered speech... Political correctness attributes as to why sentiments can be worded a lot more uninviting on the internet. Like many countries have cultural boundaries with other parts of the world I feel it is even worse in America (Being that it is the largest melting pot in the world (We're also the largest jailer in the world)). The cause of all the problems socially here are a mix of things including many of the groups seeking to fix things... It is quite the situation.
