Never used hair dryer, but I've used the heater/AC unit in a hotel before.

you know what works the best the exhaust vent of an M1A1 tank it can dry a full set of BDU's in mere minutes

Only if I am going out and suddenly step on something wet >_< Wet socks suck D:

But you can't do it for lots of clothing. Mainly because it will cost you loads in electric and the thing will probs overheat xD Or your clothing will catch fire

I've set my clothe over my wall heater to dry them. They turned crusty. After that I just take them downstairs and steam press them till they dry off.

I've straightened my clothes with a straightener... Just for like little annoying wrinkles and things.

Yes when I didn't have a change of clothes or access to a clothes dryer and there was an unexpected rainstorm. I've also used it on my shoes multiple times.

Yes. when the hotel doesn't have a washing machine or drying machine for consumer! Hand wash and Hair dryer is the way to go!
