I am streaming my Touch through my laptop right now at work. Got me some Baby Metal going right now.

If I am just wandering around though, I usually wear earbuds. Mostly to be considerate to others. I usually do not want to be hearing what random strangers are listening to, so I assume they would rather not be listening to mine. And I generally do not blast my music so as not to harm my ears. If you are in my car though, expect to be listening to j-pop or anime soundtracks while you are in it.

I only have to hide it from my dad because he tends to give me a hard time about it! My mother on the other hand doesn't care as long as its not played at a absurd volume.

I don't hide it, but I'm not exactly open about it. 2/3 of the time I listen to American rock/metal. When I feel like listening to J-Rock/J-Pop I will and wouldn't care if anyone else is around to hear. But when people ask what kind of music I listen to I just say rock and metal. I'd only tell someone I listen to Japanese music if we're getting to know each other well enough. Sometimes I'd say I listen to Japanese Pop if the person asks if I listen to any Pop. (Because American Pop sucks)

I do somewhat, I have my game soundtrack/anime on my Ipod and computer. But people I know aren't interested in that stuff nor care in the first place. I don't bring it up nor say a single word about it. Rather not take the hassle to express why I enjoy it. Some people you just can't reason with.

So much this ^^^^

In fact the only time my coworkers have question my music is when I accidentally played an English version of SAO's OP. With everything else they pay me no mind, and once a customer actually picked up when I was playing Yui's "Again" that it was from Full Metal Alchemist, and went on to tell me she was a Naruto fan. So playing your music can introduce you to fellow anime fans you didn't even know were near you, so even if you can't play it loud, always play it proud!

What kind of SAO music did you play?

The boss battle?

If it is, it'll sound like this:

"COFFEE SODA TOFFEE PASTA COFFE SODA GIVE ME COFFEE"

I actually enjoy that the J-pop and K-pop that i like is not what everyone else listens to. Sometimes people find it odd, but then, even if they don't like it, they think it's pretty cool that I like it. And that opens the doors to meeting other people with similar interests, or other quirky non-mainstream interests.

Not particularly. If asked about what music I like, I say something along the lines of, "There's not much that I don't like." If I'm asked for further details, I nonchalantly list many of them, including Japanese artists/groups. I don't listen to music in public, though. When I'm out and about, I sight-see and am too busy. I consider music to be part of my me-time, and I don't want to be bothered or bother other people. My music tastes are obvious at home and in my vehicle (though I prefer to travel to country), however. If people are with me in those areas, it's still my me-time and I'll play my music. Currently, I can only listen to Japanese music via Youtube, and I don't use hand-held devices for music. I access Youtube through my laptop, which I keep in my room. I do, however, often entertain myself with music in my head, regardless of my location. I occasionally sing in public, albeit rather quietly (or borderline whispered), which sometimes includes the work of Japanese artists. I hum, tap my fingers, and pat to music in my head, as well. I even make various sounds to tunes, which I picked up from when I was in elementary and middle school band. I tap my foot, too. I do all of that in public, though most don't notice.

Yes... yes I do... lol

Really, I don't like anyone paying attention to anything i'm listening to or watching in public. However, I think I may actually have a problem, because I don't even really like eating in public...

But if people can't physically see me, then I really don't care. Sometimes I blast anime music in my house, and even though I know the neighbors can hear it, I don't really care because I don't feel like i'm in public. That's kinda weird, now that I think about it...

I find that I am a little self conscious about listening to anime music out loud for everyone to hear, but I usually never play music out in the open like that and usually just in my headphones or in my car. I've started becoming more open with it though, nowadays in the car rides with friends it's usually my ipod that everyone wants to put on which contains like 80% anime music lol so although they don't watch anime or not as much as I do, they seem to enjoy the music more than I expected
