Where did they go? I only managed to catch one of them (14) but now the rest are gone. Can you please put them back up or tell me where to find the rest..

Thanks

It should also be noted that this was announced almost two months in advance:

On the forums? Yeah, not everyone goes here, I know at least I haven't up until the other day when i came to ask this question. But it doesn't matter either way, it's gone.

Actually that was Site News. Site News items get displayed on the homepage (lower left), and are usually visible there for several days before they get "bumped" off the page. (Site News is also available via the forum page, where you then get a list of all the news items going back a very long time).

Perhaps it should be displayed in the video description itself somewhere, I honestly don't frequent this website too often and I read the news/forums even less. I come here, go to the video I want to watch and watch it. Be it once a week or once a month.

In this case I suppose I have no other than myself to blame, but you should know that not everyone is here for the community and just browse to the videos directly.

Exactly.

This is especially true when watching episodes via one of the apps. I knew that the Oreimo OVAs were up, and I have them queued ready to watch but was mainly waiting until I was in the mood to watch them. it was only by sheer chance that i happened to access the website and saw the "limited time running out" post on the frontpage.

Information like that really needs to be in the series and episode synopsis.

Is it really such a chore to check the Site News every once in a while, say once ever couple of weeks?

There are other important announcements made there. As an example, if a series license is expiring, but you don't have it in your queue, putting that information in the site description wouldn't help at all. If a new series license is obtained, how long would it take you to find it otherwise?

Actually, sometimes it can be. Yes.

We all have those times where life piles up and at the end of the day, you pour yourself into the armchair and collapse in front of the TV. in fact, when I have times like that, I'm in front of the TV precisely because I don't feel up to sitting at the computer and am not in the mood for browsing websites. Like when ill, exhausted or going through periods of depression.

I'm not saying that the news shouldn't be on the news pages or forums. But series/episode details like that really should be in the synopsis field or somewhere else as well. For those with the mobile apps, maybe an alert. It says when new episodes go up, even of shows you're not following, so why not when things expire?
