Rule number one. ALWAYS treat every gun as if it is loaded. Check it yourself.
NEVER point a firearm at anything you don't want to destroy.
If you follow these rules you will probably be safe
Don''t be around douche bags who don't follow these rules.
OH, Don't handle firearms when wasted.
Dumbass got what he deserved.
I wonder if she still thinks the gangsta lifestyle is so cool.

if she had hit her brother in the head with a rock would you outlaw rocks?

To be fair, it's less likely that you "accidentally" shoot and kill your brother with a rock.

I hope more people in America get guns so they can kill each other off. Less people in America means less stupid people in the world

I can not feel sorry for their stupidity and the knowledge of not knowing how to inspect a weapon correctly.

Wrong. This is why you should not let somebody else handle your guns and all gun owners should take safety courses.

They also ignored the first rule of competitions and courses: any gun that isn't dismantled is loaded and deadly.

I do agree with you there buddy. Even from reading the article the pistol owner was stupid and oops she pulled the trigger or what not happened accidentally.
Despite Princeblaster's comment, the person doesn't understand how a gun can change life base on decision.

Here's what I'd love for gun control: anybody can get one providing that they have taken a safety course in that kind of firearm (long-gun vs handgun vs automatic vs etc) and they then get registered with that gun's serial number in a database. Every year, people are audited for the guns they have. If they no longer have that gun, they have to show what happened to it. It would decrease arms trafficing massively since criminals wouldn't want to show up at their dealer's house once a year to make sure he stays afloat and dealers wouldn't want to risk jail time on the honor and compassion of criminals

One rule of responsible firearm ownership, leave the guns locked up during parties and while you are inebriated.

I don't understand where you are trying to explain in relation to the article?
I simply replied about how the sister was improperly trained to inspect and handle the pistol putting it right in the brother's head.
Yes I do know all about that stuff, don't need to inform me.
Take it easy.

My friend and i used to play with my dads guns. Until he accidentally shot a hole in the wall and i about peed my pants. Never touched them again and hung a very cute drawing i had done over the hole. my dad never mentioned it till this day, so i have no idea if he knows about it .
