On another note, when the first BD get released? If it's already out, did it sell well?

There is a thread that reports that weekly:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-829299/weekly-anime-disc-sales

It lists preliminary sales of the first BD/DVD volumes as 2,768.

Unfortunately, it appears they failed to conquer home video sales in Japan.

Thanks for the link. I guess season 2 is going down the drain then?

A bit of an essay on the nature and origin of Kate's conquest powers.

Read if you feel so inclined; it's a bit more theoretical than my normal posts: http://reallifeanime.wordpress.com/2014/04/03/world-conquest-powers-and-systematic-rejection/

An excellent essay on Kate's powers one of the most indepth I ever seen on anime!

But I have some ??

Zvezda is stiil an organization of unknown origin and how about the powers of rest of Zvezda?

White Light has powers too!

Kate's Stuffed toy has power?

Kuru's Powers?

A thought about Kate's IQ Dont you think Kate is similiar to Petralka Outbreak Company who outsmarted the Japanese government a few times also >

Great read here, thanks for writing this!

Natasha's story seems to mirror your sentiments about Kate being outside the world, yet in it.

Kuru's Powers?

Here's a nice Zvezda Character Chart I found.

Zvezda's technology is created by Natasha and the Kuru Kuru are her creation. I'm not entirely sure if she too is using imagination as power, but the scene where her tears become Kuru Kuru makes me think it's possible. They need udo as a power source for Roboko, the HQ, and their suits, though. Natasha likely made all of their power suits since they operate on that udo power as well. Interestingly, udo in Russian means "satisfies." Udo is the source that satisfies their power.

How the udo fusion reactor works to power Zvezda

It seems to me Zvezda has both incredibly advanced, udo quantum reactor powered, technology and some sort of power of imagination at their disposal. Whereas, their enemies only have more traditional means of technology to use as power. Also, Kate's civilization appears to have been that of ancient Udogawa, which is buried deep down underneath the current city. Kate says that it takes 12,000 years for the udo root to die out, so Kate must have been around a very long time to know that. Kate also says she's familiar with the creation of their world... is she a God in child form? It would fit her being outside and yet inside the world as well.

White Light uses technology to give them their powers. Who created the tech and how it all works is another story.

Kate's stuffed toy is named Galaktika, which is Russian for "galaxy." So, there's probably a whole galaxy of things Kate has sucked inside. Similarly, Zvezda is Russian for "star." So, their organization is like a star in Kate's galaxy.

Galaktika at rest and in action.

Yeah, I can see why not. It's a very flawed series, for all the fun it was. I think they should have planned a 2 cour series at least. It felt too rushed with so few episodes, and cried out for some time to tell us about Zvedza and the complex relationships everyone had.

Yeah, no problem, you're welcome. Also, thank you for sharing your thoughts and screencaps; I enjoyed reading your take on things and seeing the moments you chose to highlight.

There's so much depth to this anime and I absolutely love how it all ties together yet still maintains an air of mystery. I really hope we get more, but I'm certainly not holding my breath.

Someone might have mentioned it before, but in my opinion the series seems to be a (sort of) satire on 'Tokyo Metropolitan Ordinance Regarding the Healthy Development of Youths'. Evidence being Zvezda is led by Kate (a clear loli), Tokyo is trying to take over Japan, making it into a single Tokyo. The tobacco bits seems to be saying that smoking is greater health hazard to youth than the media that is being banned, yet is less focused on. I could go further, but it would start to get long-winded.
