I envy you. I am taking CS439 here at UT, and I work on homework for this class for ~30 hours a week. Combined with my other classes, I have no time for sleep.

CS439 I'm guessing is Computer Science - Operating Systems? If so, I too feel your pain.

My class name is CECS 420. (Computer Engineering & Computer Science)

If you are in Computer Science have you taken Automata Theory yet? Brutal.

Currently taking the following classes and they all require 30+ hours of homework a week which if you add up the hours it means you have to prioritize certain classes each week or give up sleeping like you said.

CECS 420 - OPERATING SYSTEMS
CECS 504 - AUTOMATA THEORY
Plus 2 other non-major classes required for graduation that aren't worth mentioning.

Finally, next semester I am completely in CECS classes. Unfortunately, they are all 500+ level courses.

Yes, CS 439 is operating systems. It is a real pain. We are currently working on pintos, and finally have virtual memory working pretty much correctly. I tend to spend entire weekends (1 PM to 1 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, at least) and as much time as I can spare otherwise in the computer lab. At least the University just built a really nice new CS building (with $200 chairs) for us to work in, which eases the pain a bit.

Automata theory isn't required here anymore, I don't think, so I don't plan to take it. I have heard really bad things about it, though. I'm sure it would be brutal, and I may have to take it as even registering for upper divisional CS classes here is really difficult (they were literally all closed by the time I was able to register for next semester) and that will likely be one of the few open ones.

I'll soon be done with all of my non-cs classes (I have stats (3 hours), physics (4 hours), and foreign language (12 hours over 2 classes) left to do), so it will be all CS after that. After that, it'll be 4 CS classes (at least) a semester if I can get into them, otherwise, I won't be able to be full time.

I'm not sure what 500+ level classes are (here, that would mean 5 hour, but I assume that isn't what that means there), but it sounds tough. We've got pretty open choices from here, but I am required to take algorithms still, I believe. After that it is all CS electives. I'll probably take a more advanced OS class, a networks class, compilers, programming languages, and several others.

You too? Nice. Luck and skill are with us.

I beg to differ, my friend. It's always better to experience things yourself than just watch other people experience them. I'd rather go through the happiness of a relationship, get made fun of, get broken up with or be bored in real life than just watch someone else do all that.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you completely. But there are countless social experiences every single day, and from experience, most of them are boring and/or bad. The thing about anime is that it touches on subjects that we couldn't possibly do while somehow being so relatable and real at the same time. If it was possible to go through some of the experiences we see here on Crunchyroll, believe me, I would be all for it.

theres something you don't understand including the other person who replied to you, you have dreams, you probably dream all the time, you just don't remember, with the way our sleep stages work, from what i learned about the four stages, is to really remember them you have to wake up during REM sleep to remember your dreams which can happen a few times depending on how long you sleep

Or maybe I never enter the REM phase

I would think that's impossible but who knows know days they have an illness or mental illness or condition for everything but as far as I know everyone enters REM phase to get proper sleep whether they remember there dreams or not, Theres ways you can try to remember them, theres also a thing called lucid dreaming, easiest way to remember them or go into lucid dreaming is to try to remember something or think about the same thing every night before you sleep and then try to remember that as you are dreaming, there was a time when I didn't remember my dreams for a few months on end until i tried that.

That being said everyone is different so who knows, always worth a shot right

No. I'm with you on this. It gets old fast. It's that type of fanbase that ruins good shows.
I like when romance happens on it's own or if the author wants a certain romance from their creations, but it seems most people just can't let it happen any other way than what they want. It's like they lose the ability to speculate and become childish and demanding about their dumb little shippings, right?
