For whatever reason the videos aren't loading on the PS3 app. It constantly freezes midway through loading, I can't play any videos. It's not my internet connection and I've tried power cycling my PS3.. The app works on my iPhone just fine. This has been happening for the past couple of days.

Is there any known remedy to this? I'm really frustrated with this, I got the app because I recently went through surgery and I wanted something to do while bedridden.

If anyone could provide me with an answer I'd just be positively ecstatic. Thanks.

A couple threads down someone had a similar problem. Like him the circular loading thing on the lower right hand corner times out whenever I attempt to watch a video. A moderator suggested that he runs some tests from his computer. Unfortunately that isn't an option for me for I don't have a working computer at my disposal.

I'm sorry if this error has been addressed in the past.

Not sure if this will help, but have u tried what was suggested in the What's Going on With Playstation thread? I'll just quote a part of that thread here:


Another issue is the app crashing. This generally happens in one of two contexts. The first being when a show in your queue has cached a bad image file.

If this is happening to you, please do the following:

1. Launch the app.
2. Go to your Queue.
3. Remove the offending show from your Queue.
4. Exit the app.
5. Relaunch the app.
6. Navigate to the show through the 'Anime' or 'Drama' section.
7. Let me know if it still crashes when maneuvering through episodes.

The reason why this crash happens is that the app caches a bad image file. By removing the show from your queue and then exiting the app and re-entering will wipe the file and you will then be able to maneuver through episodes again.

So you didn't get a free trial when you signed up?

With the standard 2 week trial you shouldn't be charged until the 14th, based on your join date.
