Just a few minutes ago I was checking out some World of warcraft pvp videos, seeing if it was worth getting back into lol. Cause I'm just a natural pvper anyways x)

What kind of gamers do you subscribe to on youtube?
Recently browsed? (Try to stick to gaming stuff :P)

Minecraft? Guild wars?

Gameplay videos to see if the game is worth buying?

I'm just curious as to what people are interested / search for on youtube, cause I'm working on my channel atm and it's meh X)

When it comes to gaming related stuff, I usually look for "Long Play" videos. Those are like the "Let's Play" but without all the annoying narration.

While I'll occasionally stumble upon someone who has something interesting to say in terms of narration or commentary, it's usually dry or boring let's plays that I find. I try to avoid montages entirely, unless humor is the main theme because at least then I know the uploader doesn't take themselves too seriously.

I'm subscribed to Zero Punctuation because Yahtzee's critiquing style is well adapted to reviewing games, not to mention the entertaining presentation. His jaded viewpoints are actually the strong point of the reviews because he doesn't cater or act hesitant when his opinion might offend someone. If you're going to review, get to the point and present it strongly--no one wants to hear you stumble about, that's why Fast Talking Yahtzee's reviews are so popular.

I subscribed to Markiplier because I thought the guy was generally good-natured and does a lot for charities, but his attempts at humor are somewhat embarrassing at times--or just lazy. A step above Pewdiepie's typical MO, though. He's capable of thoughtful commentary but mostly sticks to ranting nonsensically which gets old. But the dude just hit one million subs, and let's not even talk about Pewd--so what the hell do I know?

The videos I watch the most are those uploaded by Eatmydiction1, because that bastard is quite humorous even at the worst of times. He can even be clever or engaging with his little comments and asides without trying too hard. You can tell he's a bit better read than some other Youtubers (he went to film school at least). But when you get him, Nanners, Chilled, Mark, and others together it doesn't really matter what they're playing because they know how to have fun with it, and more importantly, they're a funny group to watch.

So basically I stick to the entertainment aspect of it. Sometimes I'll search for the sake of information gathering (gameplay, walkthroughs, etc.), but stick around more at channels that actually provide entertainment of some kind.

When it comes to games....Almost always very related to...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xciuYTeu4Qc first...

Then move on to something related to...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hgcy6bsg4g

after that..
In order:
1: Review
2: Rage information
3: Praise information
4: Cost
5: Goto step one if decided against it, and chose a new game
6: ifelse buy game.
7: Plan on shutting self in for 25-50 hours for long grindy games, and 1-8 hours for the not so grindy games. (dark souls is oddly both...First play through, long ass game. second play through, can be beat in under 4 hours tops.
8: Put game in collection rack if it was good, else feel buyers remorse and time wasted remorse and throw the game in the storage box or somehwere behind the tv or under the bed.

I keep up with PressHeart2Continue regularly. I used to watch Achievement Hunter / RoosterTeeth but it got old quickly.

aw i miss doing this

Lately I've been crawling away from the multiplayer area of gaming, everythings casual when I'm hardcore XD (which is why I was lead to brood war / sc2, a shame sc2 wasn't what I was expecting after the hard long hours of trying to catch up with C+ players in iccup)

I stick to the guys who are entertaining to watch in most games, but most of them would be TF2 players and some Fighting Game Community guys.

I have browsed game-play of different games to check out the pros and cons of them, tips that can help improve my strategy and gaming style, long-plays and information that can help improve game performance if I ever receive lag. I do not remember who I subscribed to since it has been a while since I logged into my YouTube account.

Llllllet's Play!

I usually see the news from IGN, Gamespot, and Machinima (or however it's spelled) as well as videos from Rooster Teeth, Skydoesminecraft and his friends, Team Epiphany, Ready Up Live, and other Halo gamers. Oh and some abridged anime series.
