My girlfriend and I live about 200 miles away from each other and we watch anime together over the phone (we play the same shows at the same time). There is a pretty large selection of anime where she is and where I am, so I'm looking for suggestions for new shows to watch. We're both fans of Dragonball Z, Rosario + Vampire, High School of The Dead, Sailor Moon (just her lol), and Demon King Daimao. What we like about the shows are the girls (obviously), and the comedy. There's a good amount of slapstick in those shows (with the exception of DBZ) and we're looking for some shows that deliver that. Shows that we have heard a thousand times include: Naruto, Inuyasha, One Piece, Full Metal Alchemist. No disrespect to those shows, but we are looking for something different. I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to anime, so I figured this was the place to ask questions. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated

You like the funny, ecchi, slapstick -- I heartily recommend Ghastly Prince Enma Burning Up. Plus it's got an infectious OP, and smile-worthy ED (you'd never know it was smile-worthy unless you knew Japanese or had subtitles--and Crunchy does have the subtitles for it, so yay!)

For more suggestions, please do use the recommendation thread that FiddleDiddle suggests.
