id like to learn krav maga actually, its an israeli fighting technique which teaches u to fight in all types of conditions i.e. against six people and only have one arm available and your trying to protect someone. It puts you in the worse case scenarios and teaches you how to fight and win in them lol

Hehe, I never really wanted to be good at martial arts, just have fun. Plus, even though I quit it, I'm glad I did it; I at least know some basic self-defence moves.

True - lol...but still when you're in the advanced class, you can learn judo throws, techniques, knife defences, staff techniques...( i think its worth it lol ) and also its not only doing martial arts there - but you're also meeting new people and a step closer to the real world

Eeep. Knife defences? Well, luckily, I live in one of the most stab-free towns in England, but, that said, my dad was a police officer, so he did teach me how to do that armlock where you make your opponent drop their weapon by squeezing a certain muscle in their arm. :P

You know, my late aunt left me a kendo set... the gi, the sword... It's just a shame that there are no classes nearby. And I'm worried in case I go in and it's full of guys, since kendo is a bit of a guy's sport.

I once wanted to learn Tae Kwon Do just because it looks pretty wicked but people tell me it really lacks in defense.
