i question myself..

my family is glad that i don't date, except my brother who is starting to think that there might be something wrong with me

my problem is that guys are weird, liked someone nearly unattainable someone like my teacher who was young
i should have just told him my feelings JUST to let him know
drown in yaoi now me

i also ask my self alot...like why? am i not dating someone by now? because someone i liked the most in my whole life left went off somewhere, but that probably would not have worked out anyway so that is not an excuse but it still doesnt stop me from fantasizing like mad.

I know why i aint dating, but my reasons aint good enough for my family, they think im slow, they meen i should allready have a girlfriend and start thinking about settleing down and start a family, even though i tell them thats not what i want to do right now and that im not ready to start a family, they just tell me that no one wants to or is ready in the begining, but when you do you'll see that it was the right thing to do.

Where is your boyfriend? Is he tall? Is he getting you Mike and Ikes? You like Mike and Ikes? Where is your boyfriend?

You're short on great detail.

On topic: No one has questioned anything, in general. Mostly everyone, family or acquaintances, treat me as being a highly perceptive and independent person whose choice is their own. I am, however, frequently told that they do not understand my actions, and that they could not imagine doing the same. I have nothing of sentimental or materialistic value. I am not a hippie or a conservative. I choose to be alone. And most people have told me that they admire my courage. But to be more specific, no one has taken an interest in my love life. And why should they take an interest in my love life? It is none of their business who or what I love or when and where I choose to love it.

I questioned myself more than anybody else.

I haven't been in a relationship yet, and I'm turning 25 next month. It's scary, right?

I have been on dates; and it's always the same thing. The guy would say, "You're nice, kind and gentle, blah blah blah, but..."

There's always a but. And it's always something obscure like, "Something tells me we're not meant for each other". I just want to know what that "something" is. Is it because I'm average looking? Not intelligent enough? not funny enough? They never give me a proper reason.

Like what kind of Bridget jones diary plotline is my life???

Yup, my mom and my Aunts. They feel since I am twenty-four now, I should be dating and/or planning to find someone to get married.

Not really. Could have something to do with my stance about relationships being very clear to them: I'm not interested in a romantic relationship.

Can't think of an occasion where the issue was brought up. As long as I work hard, pay my bills, and don't do anything seriously stupid no one seems to pay any mind. Which is fine with me. And honestly, I just haven't met anyone who seems to really interest me that much.
